And yeah, Killer Instinct is awesome. I have the SNES version and Killer Instinct Gold on the N64, but the Arcade versions have better graphics.

2. Dead or Alive 3
3. Streets of Rage 2
4. Capcom Vs SNK 2000
5. Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks
6. Killer Instince Gold
7. Super Smash Bros Melee
8. Mortal Kombat 4 (It totally owns the new ones, they suck!)
9. Final Fight 3
10. PGSM for the Sega.

Streets of Rage 2 and Final Fight 3 are Beat em ups not fighting games.

the correct titles for KoF 2006 and Capcom vs SNK 2000 are KoF Maximum Impact 2 and SNK vs Capcom Millenium Match (for the NeoGeo Pocket)

Personally I think Street Fighter III: Third Strike has earned its spot on the top...although Super Turbo really should have been somewhere on that list, Third Strike is the game that really shows a definition of being a "Good" player.

Kof 2006 can be called MI 2 or 2006. Most game sites I've seen list it as 2006. & IDK what a neogeo pocket is, but I was talking about a Playstation 1 game. & it's real name is Capcom Vs SNK Pro the millenium fight 2000 part or whatever is usually left off when named on sites & junk.

Beat Em up style fighting, not Versus Fighting.

NeoGeo Pocket was a entertaining handheld system by SNK with a handful of great games.

Its CvS Pro: Millenium Fight, the 2000 part is just a subtitle on the box, like how 2001 is on the CvS2 boxes.

Beat Em up style fighting, not Versus Fighting.

No one ever specified versus or beat em up. It just said fighting & beat em up is fighting, so I'm going to say Beat Em up games count too.

Actually most people specify Versus Fighting as just plain fighting, since beat em up is essentially a different genre itself, besides the screw attack video was about Versus Fighting, so lets keep the thread to Versus Fighting shall we? I'm not going to argue about what counts as a Fighter.

Well if you read all of my first post, I mentioned how the thread wasn't for listing our own top to but that I'm gonna do it anyway. & no, I won't keep it versus just because those people have sucky taste in games.
I started the listing in the thread so I'm gonna say fighting is fighting & if you beat em up it's fighting!! so BAM!

In that case I think you have sucky tastes in Beat Em ups, no man in their right mind would place Streets of Rage and Final Fight higher than Turtles in Time :sly:
