Tokyo Zombie

So I picked up this little-known zombie comedy film called Tokyo Zombie the other day. Some people were hailing it as the "Japanese Shaun of the Dead" or something or other. Seeing as I liked Shaun of the Dead, I went ahead and decided to give it a watch.

I came out of that experience with a huge :sly: on my face. A huge garbage mountain? Zombie outbreaks due to a mixture of dead bodies, toxic waste, and whatever else was buried in that mountain? And the kicker: the main "heroes" if you will, beat the living crap out of zombies not with guns, not with blades, but with Jujitsu.

Yes.

Jujitsu.

And I'm just looking at all of this like :eyebrow:, :O_O:, :sly: and a little bit of

This is probably one of the most bizarre zombie flicks I've ever seen in my life (and to be quite honest, I've only seen a handful). It'll probably cater to the cult fans, but for everyone else, I'd watch with caution. It's chock full of randomness, I'll tell you that much.

I think this movie is pretty awesome, I actually saw this a couple of years ago right after watching Kamen Rider The First.

It's got Aikawa Sho and Tadanobu Asano for those of you familiar with those names. While it is a quiky movie no doubt, it's definitely funny.

Edit: Damn, I actually love Bio Zombie too, but for me the best is still Versus.

No way, while not having as traditional a plot as most Zombie movies, between the one-liners and the bad ass fight scenes, Versus is the Ultimate Zombie flick -- although, Bio-Zombie does have one of the best endings ever.

Seriously though, I should check out this 'Bio-Zombie' sometime.
