Funny how RX's ratings were called "low" back in the day.

Not as funny as Tsuburaya deciding Ultraseven got too low of ratings to produce anymore Ultra series in the 1960s. Today Toei/Tsuburaya would kill for a 26.47% share for a series.

It's weird they thought RX was low, it only averaged .04% lower than Black did. Black (9.31%) RX (9.27%)

Right. Or the original Kamen Rider initially getting "low" ratings that are about on par with the highest-rated episodes nowadays.

Ratings scales haven't changed have they? A 10.0% today is still the same amount of people as it was back in the 70s, right?

I think it was kind of dumb for Tsuburaya to think a 26.47% average is low, it really wasn't that much lower than what the original series got.

Actually, the orginal series garned an average of 36.76%, so a 10.29% drop seemed like a fairly big drop to them at the time.
