Tokusatsu From Other Country

Double post I know. Shinkenger starts in the fall in Korea if anyone is interested. But, has anyone heard of/seen this Sentai? It looks cheesy, but I kind of wish it was subbed....

This show has the most badass opening outside of the Sentai canon. next to Akira Kushida's official OP to France Five.

Chinese(China/Taiwan/HK/etc) wuxia shows count?
There's lovely backgrounds, plot, fighting, nice special effects during the fighting, people flying, ki attacks & moves & everyone wears period costumes.
Wuxia shows which have costumed monsters/demons and deities are based on stories like 'Nezha' or 'Journey to the West'.

SportRanger has some problems, but I find it pretty cool that it apparently goes 10 episodes without combining the robot. Toei would never have that sort of restraint.

Yet, the 1st season finale was a let-down... if only all 5 of them died than just seeing the 2 surviving members bawl it out in tears. :redface2:

That ending made me stop watching the entire show (since I saw the finale first)

a very old tread but i just found out that belgium had a real tokusatsu in 1973
it was called de kat (the cat) and was about a guy who dressed up in a brown suit with a catmask and fought evil guys who poluted the earth
well not bad for 1973
