Toku Time - Gekiranger Review

Honestly, I didnt find the review that interesting. He seemed a bit too negative and nitpicky. I understand the whole crazy of trying to be a reviewer like AVGN or The Nostalgia Critic, but not every review out there has to find every small negative thing. Stuff can be review in a good, non-ridiculing light. And the references were hit or miss. Best one was probably the Voltron reference. Im not totally shitting on his efforts or anything. I just think it would be cool to see a review of something that is a bit less ridiculing and a bit more ....idk analytical.

That was thoroughly enjoyable!!

Where's some of his other stuff so I can see it?

Meh, thats just how some people do their reviews, you find faults in the the good stuff to pick at it, but you still love it.

If you want analytical...then watch my stuff >.>

I have actually and its feels a lot of the same. I mean, nitpicking at an arrow breaking through metal chains when you're watching a show about kids being possessed by spirits, for lack of a better term, and transforming into bug-motifed warriors is a bit much. I dont mean to offend, I just think you can review a show without dissecting it to the point that you sort of lose the reason why you watch it in the first place.

Thats just it, I didnt...That really stood out at me as complete BS. I mean I can suspend my disbelief about a lot of things. Hyper advanced armor, Demons, things like that. But there are some things that just drive me to madness. Like the whole fake modern day thing, or the wood arrow cutting through metal. I mean, you think they would have at least given us some kind of slight explaination of why that could happen?

I mean I love Den-O to begin with, but that movie just runs on bullshit...

And dont get me started on the story....

For a review of something I liked, go watch my Soul Reaver or Left 4 Dead review.

What annoys me the most is that despite all this nitpicking, he fails to mention what was really wrong with the show.

I agree that I didnt really like the movie. But, those werent the main reasons it sucked. It contributed, but wasnt the main reason. So, they didnt need that much emphasis.
