Toku in my dreams! V2

I feel like I or someone made a topic like this before... Oh well. Here we go again!

Anyone have dreams or nightmares that were toku related? Day dreams and imagination do not count. Only dreams that occurred while you were asleep.


I recently had one a few nights back, so I'll start us off! And I'll put it in Hide tags to save space. Click to read at your own discretion~

[HIDE]I was a kid again, and I was having fun with some other kid my age (wasn't anyone I actually knew in life). We were playing with Tokusatsu toys and pretending to be the heroes and villains.
...That's right, tokusatsu toys. Not Power Rangers. Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. We were even yelling phrases from the shows as we played make believe.

Apparently, we were playing in the backyard of this other kid's house. And he must have some RICH folks, because he had a Chuck E. Cheese's/Gatti's style arcade and fun house in his backyard. This was THEIR version of a shed! And we were just having fun outside, playing make believe. But I soon realized my mother would be coming by soon to pick me up. I wanted to stop playing, but the kid got angry and said "No!". Before I knew it, he took my toys and his and was basically holding them for ransom. He told me to keep playing with him and never leave, or he'll throw my toys away.

Being a kid, of course, I walk away to think about what I am going to do since I don't want to lose my favorite toys. I spend a second in his arcade shed, and then I get a brilliant idea. This next part I can't remember clearly, but basically I find the kid and hold his arcade for ransom somehow, so now I am basically offering a trade off. At that moment, he just gets more angry, and he is giving off a dark aura. He yells some more cause he knows that he has been bested, then he suddenly faints and falls over. I grab my toku toys, but then a magical gateway opens up where the boy was standing, and...

Out comes Wolzard!
Not Koragg, Wolzard. Japanese voice, spells, and all.

And he is angry! With sword, shield, and spells ready, he attacks me! He wants me DEAD! He must have been possessing my friend earlier. And before he can cast his second spell, my toku toys come to life! They are now REAL toku items just like from the shows! So I henshin into Kamen Rider Double, Cyclone Joker Form, and start fighting back with the Trigger Magnum!
But Wolzard is a BADASS! He starts fighting back and kicking my ass even harder than he EVER fought in MagiRanger or in Mystic Force! It was an EXPLOSIVE battle!! Even when I try to give him a Rider Kick, he counters it with a magical super kick of his own! He was going to defeat me or die trying.

Sadly, that's where it ends. The dream was interrupted by my evil alarm clock.[/HIDE]

I only dreamt of Wizard's seal popping up. then the rings appeared in their usual spots just like in the intro, but they Glowed and the colored lights went into each of WizarDragon's body parts corresponding to the styles in which the body parts were equipped to Wizard's body when he is using the special ring. Red = Dragon head, Green =wings, Etc. Sadly that is all i remember from that dream.

When I was a young boy I had the most amazing dream ever. It was when MMPR was still in its first run and I, like most American kids, loved it. This dream was of me as the Red Ranger leading the team in a fight against Dracula of all things. (The stero typical, pale faced one.) I don't remember much, but I know we kicked his ass. Oddly I wasn't wearing the helmet, but I did have a yellow scarf on. This was decades before I even knew what kamen rider was, but it is still a bad ass memory. (Of course I was a huge Megman fan, so it may have been me projecting a little Protoman onto the costume.)

Since then most of my toku dreams havn't been anything major, but that one will always stick with me.

I've had some weird toku-related dreams.

-One was a dream that it was like that movie "Troll Hunter" except instead of some dude who hunts trolls, me and this crew of people i could care less about were following Kouga as he slays random Horrors during a night's worth of work.

-Another where I was Kamen Rider OOO fighting two yummies, a Unicorn and Dragon.

-And this really embarassing one recently where....

[HIDE] I was at this giant concert the bands performing were MegaDeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Pantera and Scorpions, apparently my date to said event was Escape, i have had that dream more than once too.[/HIDE]

When I was young I dreamed that I was riding Godzilla as he fought a giant cyclops.

Been meaning to post this. I had another Tokusatsu related dream a few days ago. I'll be posted the "family friendly" version of this dream, since the original version is more adult than it needs to be.

I had a dream I was back in college or high school, something like that, but it was not a campus I was familiar with. Apparently, I was taking what was suppose to be some kind of Japanese Social Studies/Cultural Appreciation class. However, the instructor was American and has never been to Japan before. Despite what the book said, she didn't feel right teaching about a subject she wasn't experienced in. So instead... She decided to educate us about her favorite subject, Japanese cinema!

Somehow, instead of giving us a broad look at everything, she was focusing only on Tokusatsu. She would give us presentations about the Combining Robots (Megazords) and explain what really went into the design of them, as well as the design of other Sentai stuff (She even had some of the more expensive Japanese toys behind glass displays). While this was all going on, we were given an in class assignment: Assemble a Figurerise model kit of a Kamen Rider. Mine was Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form (I know, it doesn't actually exist. Tell that to my dream). If we could not complete the assembly, we were allowed to take it home and finish. And it looked like everyone was going to do so.

In the middle of class, she interrupted us to take us on a quick trip. We walked all the way to a near by toy store (more like comic store, but whatever). She pointed out all the stuff that was originally from Japan and the cultural relevances behind it that we wouldn't have known otherwise; mostly picking up anime stuff including Yu-Gi-Oh type starter decks. She wasn't saying anything I didn't all ready know, so I mostly tuned her out. But I was just in awe the whole time! A class that gives me a grade for studying the nerdy things from Japan that I absolutely love! I WAS IN HEAVEN!

As she walked us back to the campus, discussing random trivia along the way, she told us that class was dismissed. That's when I panicked. I LEFT MY FIGURERISE KUUGA IN THE CLASS ROOM! I was told at some point that they lock the doors to that class room at a certain time, and it was getting pretty close to said closing time.

For some reason, I felt like taking the longest route through the campus to get back to the classroom, even though I was hustling as fast as I can. But when I got there, they were closing early. Apparently, the class room doubles as one of the faculty's apartment or something. One of the school's staff members lives in that room. I thought it was weird, but I shrugged and let it go. I couldn't get to my Figurerise Kuuga in time, and I knew it was going to be one of my first failing grades in the class. Talk about the biggest kind of embarrassment. To get a failing grade in a class like THAT... Anyways, I exited the campus the same way I went in, and started making the long walk back home.

And that was the end of the dream.

Before Wizard was announced last year, I dreamed about a magic-themed Rider (that was in February-March time and Wizard was confirmed in July, IIRC?) I can't remember the dream very clearly but the Rider in it wore a lot of black and the show looked a little like CSI Miami - it used a yellow filter and all the scenes were shot in bright sunlight. So it wasn't too much like what we got.

I once dreamed that a friend and I were Captain Marvelous and Joe (i.e. we actually were and had always been them) and we were in a relationship and making out on a sofa. In between snogging we tried to talk about what we were going to do about our forbidden lurve and saving the universe and all that. It was a pretty strange dream. No, I'm not romantically involved with this friend in the real world, but I told her about the dream (she's a huge yaoi fangirl who ships Marv/Joe) and she thought it was hilarious ...

And here we go again... (Do I really like Tokusatsu THAT much? :sly: )

So I had a weird dream, it was disjointed and I can't remember all of it, but I'll try and piece it together as best as I can...

I started off as a kid in high school and I was trying out for a school play. Like in real life, I had grown out of being a stage performer in any capacity, but this was different. For whatever reasons, they were reenacting KAMEN RIDER WIZARD for the school play, and I just HAD to be a part of that!

Aiming high, I tried out for the part of Haruto (for some reason, this audition was taking place outdoors). And somehow, I forget how, I actually BECAME Haruto. Even the students auditioning with me became the real Shunpei, Rinko, and everyone (But Nitoh wasn't there). We were suppose to be protecting some American high school kid who was a Gate, so we left Japan and found him. Not an easy task without a guide to help us out. We found him but he ran away from us, and we all got separated in the woods trying to find him. To make things worse, Phoenix and his minions kept interfering.

Well, we managed to ward off the dangers and regroup, only to realize the kid was gone. We had a feeling we could track him down at his high school, which ironically was the same high school in my dream that I was attending as a student, the same one where I was auditioning for the part in the play. Now, if I or my friends were still students like we were at the start of this dream, we would have NO problem navigating our way through that school. But because we were now characters from Japan and because this high school was ridiculously huge, we knew it was going to be troublesome.

But, I was Wizard, and I had a traditional samurai katana for some reason... :sly: But more importantly, I had a spell to help us out! It was a warp or portal spell! I could summon a pair of those iconic magical circles from the show, my friends and I could run through one of them, and we'd end up on the other side (You guys have seen the game Portal, so you know how it works). So, yeah, warping past huge highways and large sections of the school was easy.

At one point, we separated again to cover more of the school grounds, but I was beginning to figure out where Phoenix and the kid REALLY were. ... And then the dream ends.

...Did I mention I had a katana in that dream? It was never brought up, it was just there. I could have summoned the Wizarswordgun at any time, but no, just had a katana for some reason. Strange... Maybe the ones organizing the play weren't as familiar with Kamen Rider Wizard as we are.

The way I dream is a bit weird, instead of actually experiencing it they're more like memories which I quickly remember are false after waking up. So if I was to dream about toku it would probably be something along the lines of, having just woken up, remembering that the Akibarangers have a fourth ranger called AkibaGreen, then immediately after I remember that never happened.
