No, I definitely meant Donnie. Jet doesn't even do choreography, but at least his form is good. He might be a little wuxia heavy for some people's tastes but you have to admit he looks good doing it no matter who you like. Donnie on the other hand is just stupid. His choreography is lame and entirely predictable. He always insists on flailing his hands as fast as possible and doing the same combination of spinning kicks approximately 937 times in a row and tries to pass it off as "choreography". No wonder he's working for Star TV.
Jackie has magnificent form. I don't know what films you've been watching, but try Drunken Master 2, Snake in the Eagle's Shadow, or the Young Master and then try to say the same thing.
Yuen Biao is good, but overrated, yet oddly underused. He's good at acrobatics but gets sucked into shitty movies like Righting Wrongs and Iceman Cometh. Blah.
As for the Yuens, I've given up on them long ago. I don't know how Corey managed to keep up with the like of Biao, Hung, and Chan, or even Yuen Wah, who despite having terrible roles and even worse technique still manages to be better than Corey. Ever seen Born Invincible? Corey Yuen and Yuen Shun Yi fight Mark Long at the beginning at it's so terrible. Corey is completely stiff and blocky, it makes me vomit a whole whole lot. Plus his choreography has hit rock bottom and doesn't look like it's getting any better. Ever since Kiss of the Dragon and (bleh) So Close, he's been recycling the same exchanges from different angles and Americans are too ignorant to tell. Yuen Wo Ping isn't a whole lot better. If you want to throw names like wire-whore around, he'd be the perfect candidate. Not only is he in charge of most of these over wired movies you see with Jet Li, he was only good at old school (as in pre 1990) choreography and now his stuff just looks dated and generic.
