TMNT: Turtles Forever

Well, the movie has just wrappd up at Comic Con. From what I've heard, it's a very touching send-off for the modern TMNT series and a nice valentine to every other era of the franchise

[hide]The main villain honours go to Ch'rell, the Utrom Shredder, alive and well and back with a vengeance. He attempts to eliminate "Turtle Prime", the original MIRAGE comics reality, by eliminating "Turtle Prime", he can rid every reality of a Turtle group, allowing himm and by default, countless Shredders free dominion over reality.

Eastman and Laird even make cameos as themselves in the final scenes, both agreeing to take a coffe break after a long day of illustrating. This sounds particulary emotional, and might come off as such when I see it.[/hide]

Woah, when has 'meet the makers in the show' ever worked? Would be a first.

They don't meet them thankfully. It's just their hands and their voices illustrating another TMNT panel.

That was a bum deal, especially since they can get Cullen and Welker for Bayformers and the entire original series cast had been reunited for a straight-to-DVD documentary only a few months ago.

4Kids were bringing down the hammer on the production team (they've now shut down), and the budget went into a lot of the animation, so there was too little time.
