I never caught Turtles Forever, thankfully. When it was advertising itself as "going back to the 80s cartoon," I totally bailed.

Didn't care for the original cartoon I take it?

It was okay, I liked it then, but it was really tame in comparison to the first movie (which followed the comic better; My sister also got me the TPBs for the comics around that time). There are many opportunities to do something faithful to the comics, but they want to go back to the one adaptation. It's holding back history.

It's a case of one step forward, two steps back.

I feel so stupid... I can't believe I never realized it before but the Foot Clan is poking fun at the Hand... Now it makes sense why Marvel included an Elektra parody in the Power Pachyderms.

...No...you should really watch Turtles Forever. They crossover with the 1980's Turtles, but it's really a movie for the 2003 team. Trust me.

Yeah most folks get butthurt because the 87 Turtles looked silly and Krang and Shredder are incompetant (imagine that...). It was pretty much the truth.

But they totally gloss over the fact that

Or that 2k3 Don ends up banging his gizmo 87 style or the exploding throwing stars actually come in handy!

Turtles Forever was awesome.

Loved the 87-96 series, don't really watch the newer ones. loved the newer movie with the crossover

That's a tad harsh, considering it was faithful to just about every incarnation of
the TMNT franchise.

...No...it did have that one moment that I thought was kinda disrespectful, but overall it was pretty accurate.

You do you realize that the Turtles are parody so even when they turn the lens on themselves it is still within the spirit of the franchise.
