I am serious. Every generation has had problems, but every generation has also had great things. I want to know what makes this one worse.

Can you honestly say that what you experience first hand can possibly represent the whole of today's society? I find that extremely hard to believe.

Sociologists study the hood and various different societies, you don't see them wave big signs saying "LOOK AT ME I'M A SOCIOLOGIST". They are there, and they don't get involved. Since thats the point of studying something. You observe it you don't interfere. Judging from a lot of your posts you seem to have disdain for adults.

Okay fine things might be bad where you are living, but thats only where you are living. Using only where you are living and youtube comments is no justified way to judge the rest of society. Thats just plain stupidity and ignorance. And no one is telling you its fine and dandy where you are at, at least I'm not, you're just putting words in my mouth.

Exactly. Life sucks for me on a daily basis most of the time. But I also have good family and friends to help me get past all that. I also have my irc channel and forums like this to unwind. I also have my NDS and other games. I have anime and toku. You shouldn't always dwell on the negative. That is a perfect way to burn out. Punk, try and do fun things any chance you get.

Dude stop reading the wrong things in. Of course you should be helped, but people are scared. This is the real world not some cartoon or movie. People see others getting jumped, and the first thing they think about usually isn't "I have to help that guy" it's "I might get killed then what about my family" and things like that. Just because people don't help you doesn't make them weak or useless.
