Some of the biggest complaints at a movie theater is having the film ruined by endless stupid comments by the people sitting behind you or a glow from a cell phone that your neighbor is using to text his/her friends. Well now, some theaters will actually encourage this.

Chicago Tribune is reporting that audiences will now be able to heckle a movie by texting a comment on their cell phone and then watch it appear on the screen for everyone to "enjoy." Unfortunately, it takes a few minutes for the comment to appear, so it might not match with the scene being shown.

MuVChat, as it is called, is in the early stages, with the first screenings set up at the Classic Cinemas' Charlestowne 18 theater. If you're interested in trying this out... "Dodgeball" will be shown on Saturday at 10:30pm.

"Normally, you don't want people texting on their phones, [the glowing screens] are kind of like fireflies inside the auditorium," said Charlestowne manager Randy Pollock. "But if everybody is doing it, it's fun."

At this point, new movies will not use the MuVChat system, but if it becomes successful, it will only be a matter of time.

Kinda sounds like how NicoNico Douga does thier videos.

Only you know. Not funny.

This is like the old style Grindhouse theaters. Everyone is expected to heckle. loudly. JUST YELL AT THE SCREEN YOU LAZY MOTHERS.

Great now those annoying notes that appear on fansubs will be emulated with movies.

As for spoiler issues I can already see it now appearing on screen "See that Soylent Green? Its made of people". "I **** you not its made out of people".
