The_Emperor's Collection

You know I gotta say, you got the cleanest and neat set up of all the collections I've seen.

I like that.

btw I'm going to beat you at this little poster game you keep playing. heh

I got them from Ikea. They're Billy Bookcases with glass doors. IIRC, about $80CDN each.

It depends on the color you get as well for cost :) & then the doors are a good $60 each as well at least! I have the same thing but birch with metal doors I find the metal doors take less away from the display because they are thin compared to the wood framed ones though it makes no different when you open them & admire the collection it self :D. Good gosh those bookcases kick ass though don't they?! They can hold so much plus the doors have saved many a figure of mine from falling to its death & smashing on my floor :D

Really? I wasn't aware of that. Then again, I wouldn't have known since all the funding was entirely from my parents. :D

They wanted to help me clean up the "mess" that used to be my collection. My collection room used to be more like a warehouse than a display room. In fact, I had already been asking them for years to get shelves for me but they've always thought of it was a waste since it'd just be filled with toys. That's until they saw my uncle's collection in HK and then they realized it'd actually look nice -- no matter what was put in it. That was when I gave them the "I TOLD YA SO!"

I personally prefer the wood ones since it was what, by default, made me think "this is exactly what I want". I usually following my "gut feelings" rather than "thinking" when I buy stuff. I find that "thinking" purchases tend to end in regrets -- just ask a bunch of my figures who have been in storage for years now. IMO, I either like it or not like it -- sort of like love at first sight. From my experience, "thinking" can make me like things that I actually don't really like. So just to be safe, I abide by that personal rule of mine.

Also got about 10+ more figures on the way as a result of my recent Star Trek Spending Splurge on eBay.
I managed to score a lot of good deals and I've also 100% officially completed my Voyager crew. :D
