The Valiants (Rated 12) - RPG Thread

The deafing sound of shattering glass jarred Crimson back to consiousness. Michael struggled to make sense of the noise but the beast, the feral mind, thought of only the pain and the one who caused it.
For a long moment an internal battle raged, the human and beast minds fighting for control of the body. Try as he might to block it, Michael was overwelmed by sheer pain and in that instant the beast assumed control.

Lurching to his feet, scattering debris around him, Crimson stood up. Hunching over to the point of nearly being on all fours, Crimson searched for his target. Spotting Diodorus nearby, Crimson roared before once more charging the massive man, this time on all fours.

Leaping into the air, Crimson tackled Diodorus, sending the pair tumbling to the ground with a crash. Without hesitation Crimson snarled before suddenly sinking his fangs into the pinned man's shoulder. The fangs ripped through the flesh and hit muscle. Without Michael's restraint Crimson's power had increased greatly. Crimson released and with blood dripping down his muzzle, began to move toward Diodorus's throat.

(OOC: I figured Michael should lose control at some point, and now seemed a good time)

Diodorus roared in pain as Crimson’s fangs dug into his skin. This creature was his equal in strength, as they wrestled violently on the floor, with the Mad Greek punching and clawing the beast, they were rolling towards the giant hole where the wall used to be.

Deciding to let the inevitable happen, Lionman ran to White Dream’s side and gently got her into a sitting position. He checked her pulse, her heartbeat (blushed slightly when he touched her breast) and opened her mouth to help her breath.
“Sakura,†he whispered, “wake up.â€

Diodorus saw the hole coming closer and attempted to kick Crimson away and send the monster sailing into the abyss to wind up as street pizza.

White Dream’s mind continued to struggle amongst the chaos that wage within. The memories now represented by two swirling colors (one a light pink representing her memories and the reddish black representing Diodorus’s) were shattered upon a white light shining between (representing Lionman’s voice), the two. The reddish-black swirl dissolved as the white started to expand.

Outside White Dream’s eyes shot open wide and darted around every corner of the room until settling upon Lionman with a weak smile. “G-Gomen nasai…†her voice whispered. White Dream had noted the faint blush crept across his cheeks, but did not say anything to make any more redder. Looking back in the direction of the Mad Greek, her eyes open more slightly. “…Crimson…†White Dreams eyes met that of Lionmans “We’ve got to h-help him. He’s not in control to realize the danger he’s in. Diodorus will throw him out the window.â€

“Onegai shimasu…†White Dream look forward at the American “..help us.†If they were going to help their friend, they would need more help no doubt.

((OOC: This is very sad. I've already spoken to Scotty Rave about this in the past. I do not wish to see this one die out. Tigerhawk21, must admit that was an excellent post. Makes a lot of sense to me that he would have troubles from time to time like that. Definitely adds more character.))

(OOC: Thanks MagiPink :) I don't want to see this die either but i'm not sure if i should post another 'round' of the fight w/Dio or just wait for a different character to post.)

(OOC: Another round coming up :) )

Crimson, or rather the beast, did not see the danger that was approaching. The only thing the beast knew was the fact that its prey was causing more pain and was trying to escape. Roaring once more, Crimson dug his claws deeper into Diodorus, drawing him close once more.

The beast would not let its prey escape, and Michael had since fallen unconscious from sheer exhaustion.

(OOC: With the disappearance of some of the players, it looks like we'll have to work around this without them. Hopefully we can manage, because the first episode is almost over.)

Diodorus forced himself into a knelt standing position, with one hand around Crimson’s throat and the other delivering punches to his gut. The fighters were bloody and spittle-ridden, madness in their eyes and bloodlust building in their minds. Half laughing, half grunting, Diodorus began to bend Crimson back out of the window.
“I’ll see you in hell, you filthy animal,†he snarled.

Lionman looked around. Where the hell had Black Bullet and the Combatant disappeared too? One, he could see back at base, the other had seemingly fled the scene when their backs were turned.
Coward, he thought, that’s just like a Yank.
He stood up and walked forward two steps, then he ran and jumped into the air.
“CRIMSON!†he shouted. “GET OUT OF THE WAY!â€
Hoping the beast would hear him, Lionman planted his foot hard into the Mad Greek’s back, sending him forward out of the window. At the last second, Diodorus grabbed onto the edge with one hand and, breathing in heavy and raspy, began to pull himself back up.

Snarling in surprise and anger Crimson dug his feet trying to keep his hold on the floor. Growling, he shifted to face Lionman, unable to recall he was a friend, merely seeing another threat to be dealt with.

Stepping forward, his foot landed on Diodorus's hand, claws digging into his fingers. Oblivious to this, Crimson continued his advance on Lionman, the force nearly dislodging the hanging man below.

"Kill... all..." Crimson snarled slowly, as if not used to human speech. But the glint in his eyes, and smile seemingly forming told everything. The beast was enjoying this.

“You…are…not going to…get the best of me…!†Diodorus grabbed Crimson’s ankle, dragging the beast man backwards. His great, heavy body began to slip down inches, and he was determined to take his opponent down with him. He didn’t care about Lionman, or White Dream, or the two who vanished, he wanted Crimson. Lionman, in response, grabbed Crimson’s arm and pulled in the opposite direction. His arms were soon aching, as he dug his feet into the carpet for a foothold.
“Michael Windra!†he hissed. âœWake up!â€

Taking another glance around the room, White Dream closed her eyes briefly. The raven-hair woman could only assumed that their comrade must have taken off to the base due to very good reason. As for the other, it was foolish of her to believe that he would put aside things and help them. It was clear now that he was not to be trusted.

White Dream’s eyes shot wide open in the direction of her comrades. Slipping her gloves back onto her hand quickly, White Dream forced herself to stand up and rushed towards the two. “No! Crimson! Come back to us!†her voice pleaded. Diodorus had sealed his own fate long time ago, but what mattered most right now was helping their friend come back to them.
