The last films were not as good. While this might not have the look of MK ,it has the spirit of it dressed up in a Batman Begins sorta way.

MK1 the movie was very good. It had the feel and pretty much matched the games.

MK2 the movie was just ****.

Yah which begs the question if this thing is real or not, but I get the feeling it is real cause there's some familiar actors on that scene!! I don't think i'd be seeing actors of there caliber in a fan film such as this! Real or not though, I like the look and vibe of the whole thing! I hope they bring the techno music

Wow this seems horrible, along the same line as the Super Mario Bros. movie. What is the point of making Mortal Kombat realistic anyway? This approach takes away from the over the top charm the series is known for, now it just comes off as grim and depressing. So what now instead of gods and ninjas we have sociopaths with body image issues. This is just sick, the entire cast now seems to be serial killers and corrupt cops. People have always complained about the violence in Mortal Kombat but it has always been removed from any sense of reality that it was more cartoony than anything else. But this feels like instead of trying to evolve or rework the existing material they just want to up the shock value which just comes off as sad.

The same reason why Ryo Sakazaki and Terry Bogard are secret agents, Kyo Kusangi is the dude from Never Back Down, and Mai Shirunai has no breasts, and Darth Maul is Rugal Bernstein.:sweat:

I liked it for what it was, and want to see more. If it's a movie, here's hoping we get a fight scene just as, if not better than Cage vs Scorpion from the first movie. That was one awesome fight, yes it was,
