The Red Eagle

They just don't give up do they? The last Thai Superhero movie failed. Fact is Thai people don't like their own creation and prefers to be everything like 1) Americans or 2) Korean Pop Singers. And still some people try to get others attention. It's just well, it's kinda cheesy. The stories they write, it's just not that good enough. In a way it makes them all just seem more like they're trying to hard to fit into another's culture rather than focussing on their own.

The original "Red Eagle" was created since 1970. I think it's Thai Original Hero.

and it's the last film of "Legend Superstar of Thailand : Mitr Chaibuncha"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitr_Chaibancha#His_last_film

Mitr’s death was ruled as a tragic accident. For safety, there should have been two takes for the final scene. The first would have been of Mitr grabbing the ladder and flying off at low altitude. Then, a stunt double would have performed a second shot at a higher altitude.

In thai wikipedia said, This novel was inspired by the movie who played by "Roy Harold Scherer, Jr." well known as "Rock Hudson" (but I don't know the name of the movie).

ps. It's looks like "Dare Devil" lol. Let's see how it's going.
