With Bale you can hardly tell and that's what I like about it. Or maybe because it's alot more darker and angry.

But Bale's Bat-voice is silly; how can criminals not crack up at that? Bale's Bat-voice makes it sound like he's one step away from pooping out his mouth.

Forever & B&R were horrid.

Forever's not as good as Burton's movies, but I don't think as bad as people make it out to be. I don't know why everybody's so anti-Jim Carrey lately, when it used to be that people think he stole the movie. Sad thing is, with some tweaks, Forever could have been really good.

I rewatched the first four Batman movies recently, and was surprised by how much I enjoyed Forever. Batman & Robin, on the other hand, actually manages to get worse.

A little late, but...I thought the film was great. But I didn't like it better than BB for some reason. My only gripes were the length, the music wasn't as good as the first (even though I believe some was reused), and I would have actually preferred it to be a little more "comic booky" and a little less like a typical crime-drama film. There was no light heartedness to this film, and yes, I know it's supposed to be dark and depressing, but it almost went overboard for me.

Other than that great film. The action was superb and made sense for when it was there, the acting was on par of course, and the suspense level was high, especially the boat scene...loved that part. I give it 4/5.

funny thing, i rewatched the first two batman movies lately, and I still think that it's a tim burton movie rather than a batman movie.

I'd say Batman Returns definitely has more of that "Tim Burtonyness" to it -- it certainly strays a bit -- but I think he keeps it in check for the first one.

I agree. Bale's Bat-voice is just plain horrible. :laugh:

I picked up Batman Begins to watch it tonight since I watched a shitty bootleg of it back in 2005 and never really paid attention.

That news is old. Morgan Freeman's fine now, just has some fractions. Plus, it's not a curse.

Dark Knight comes in 2nd place to Batman Returns as my fav Bat flicks.

I picked up Batman Begins to watch it tonight since I watched a shitty bootleg of it back in 2005 and never really paid attention.
