THREE RIVERS, Michigan - Three Rivers police have arrested a man who they say tried to steal posters and other items related to the new Batman movie from a cinema lobby while dressed up as the Joker.

Detective Mike Mohney said Monday he expects 20-year-old Spencer Taylor to be charged with larceny and malicious destruction of property.

Taylor is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 5 in St. Joseph County District Court.

There is no telephone listing under his name in the Three Rivers area.

Mohney says police officers who were dispatched early Sunday to the Three Rivers 6 theater arrived to find employees restraining a man wearing a purple suit, a green wig and face paint in the style of Batman's nemesis in "The Dark Knight."

LONDON (Reuters) - Police have launched a manhunt for Batman, after a man dressed as the superhero beat another man unconscious outside of a cafe over the weekend.

"Police are hunting a man dressed as Batman who was involved in an assault in the early hours of Sunday morning," Thames Valley Police said in a statement on Monday.

Police rushed to the scene after the assault and the unconscious victim was whisked to the hospital. But the masked offender had already made his escape.

"The offender is thought to be white, but officers do not have any further description of him," the statement said.​

As Hud said, "Of course, we're not sure who the good guy really is in this story, but one thing's for sure, a country like England brings out the strangest behavior in people."

Well, let's not count The Dark Knight! According to this, it still has a chance.

By the way, even though I'll agree that Titanic is very overrated and at times way too mooshy! Leonardo DiCaprio is a great actor, and is in LOTS of great films. That's a fact, not my opinion.
