The Official Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger News Thread - Promo on the first post

Okay, so let's say that Goukaiger is getting a full season of 51 episodes.
Great, awesome. But there are 35 teams including Goukaiger. If we devote at least one episode to every team, that's already 35 episodes down. Plus we are going to need to flesh out the Goukaiger team a bit more, so let's say that's another 4 episodes. We are left with 16 episodes.

I've heard nothing but complaints on Decade's "two-episode per series" arcs. This is not going to be enough, unless some teams get the axe and are only shown.

I can't be the only one concerned about this.

hmm......... well, lets say half of the season ( 24 eps in) is hensei that have two parters and the other half (25 eps in) is showa and is only one ep. the finale is a two parter

I've heard nothing but complaints on Decade's "two-episode per series" arcs.

I personally liked the "two-episodes per series" thing with Decade. Enough time for us to see a bit of the new world and then the second episode for Tsukasa and the other Rider to learn the true meaning of friendship and Tsukasa to get his new cards.

That being said, that wouldn't work if they're going to visit every team's world. The series would just be too long. They could have some two-parters peppered throughout. Maybe in the worlds where they stay more than an episode they get robos versus just getting a power-up/keys. I certainly hope they visit every world.

What I'm curious about is if they will do something similar to Decade's first episode (whatever your problems with Decade, you gotta admit that first episode is quite a spectacle...at least the opening) and show us a big gathering (the old teams getting de-powered?) or show us a fight scene where we get to see the team transforming into ones they'll only meet later on. Like how Tsukasa had full access to his cards when he first got them and was able to transform into Riders we wouldn't see again till later in the journey as a teaser.

This show will be incredibly epic. I cannot wait. I havnt been interested in a sentai run for ages. This will definitely be it.

Good cast. I actually have heard of Yuichi Sato & have put him on rumors for years now. Anyways, looks to be a good cast.

By the way, I have found some hints:

Whoa whoa, AKB48? Your link seems to be broken though...

I actually wouldn't be surprised if someone from AKB ended up starring in a toku show. It wouldn't be any of the main frontgirls because they're too busy, but I mean. There are 48 members (more if you consider the research students and their sister groups SKE48, SDN48, and NMB48), lots of whom do...not very much outside of the theater performances. We've had people from idol groups in toku before (Morita Suzuka from Idoling, Niwa Mikiho from Canary Club) so I don't see why this would be any different. I actually think it's even more likely because of how popular they are right now.
I've actually had a theory about Kikuchi Ayaka from Team K, because she's been talking about secret shooting since like, early November-ish, and she made a post before that saying that she got REALLY happy news and it's a new thing for her and it's such an honor, etc etc, but she couldn't say what it was........
