What about. . A mechanical belt?

The Rider could access new weapons by retrieving them from the belt. . and gain access to new powers/forms by "adjusting" the main device of the belt with various tools.

The henshin into the standard form would involve using a wrench to turn a large nut or bolt in the belt itself.

It'd probably only work if this Rider looked like Junkman but yeah. . Lol.

that was another gimmick i forgot too. Screws. why did i forgot about that one when i was thinking about lighters and burning kids on fire.

OOO somehow made three medals and a tilt work. Anything can happen.

The tilt is actually a good 'ease of use' feature. If you try scanning horizontally, it's actually feels quite awkward to get a smooth action going. Putting it at an angle makes it much easier.

plastic lighters would be the trick, it could be a cool gimmick with flicking the lighters and revealing a plastic flame to "light" yourself on fire

Yeah you seem to be missing the point. The rider henshins by commiting suicide! You might as well call it kamen rider seppuku and have him stab himself with a fancy-handled kitchen knife. Even if the toys are made to look really different from real lighters, there will be a kid out there who notices that daddy's lighter works much more like the one on the show than his toy and promptly burns themself.

oh yeah, along with that gimmick, i was also thinking about plastic cigarettes with a ic chip on the end to scan with the flame to access different weapons and abilities.

For some reason this bit doesn't appear on the thread page but does appear when I quote your post. Weird. (EDIT: I was probably looking at it while you were in mid-edit. Nevermind) But this time you're promoting smoking to kids. There's probably rules about not doing that.

If you're trying to think about things for a cowboy rider, I can think of at least two other ways of doing it. The first would be to combine the idea behins the DiEnd Driver and Trigger Magnum, having a gun that you load ammo clips (made of plastic and roughly the size of a gaia memory) into, then the henshin is performed by shooting up into the sky like DiEnd. Or you could just have a variety of different sheriff stars that attach onto the belt, possibly spinning them around to activate?

Kamen Rider Cowboy
Has 6 slots in a round circular piece on a belt which he has to load with bullets of varying color, he then spins it and slams down on a button somewhere on the gun "shooting" a round. .causing a front-facing knockback to any enemies too close to him while the gunsmoke created from the shooting surrounds him to form into his suit. The Colors would determine the type of damage done by his attacks and/or additional forms.


Kamen Rider Bandit
Loads a shotgun-type weapon with shotgun-bullet like objects of varying color, much like Cowboy the colors will effect the types of damage and potentially unlock additional forms, though Bandit being a secondary Rider would be more likely to gain an additional form via an additional weapon, like a Rifle of some sort. . His Henshin sequence would simply involve shooting in any given direction, the gunsmoke blowing back from the gun would form into his suit.


I can invision a bunch of generic goons with cowboy hats sitting in a saloon. . and then Kamen Rider Cowboy enters and gets hit by a chair. Good times, good times.

really don't take things the wrong way or too literal. hibiki catches on fire in the middle of his henshin to transform so it could be the the same thing. and the cigarettes would be plastic anyway so you can't smoke it. i realize the idea is bad for children but i would be one to promote the show to adults or teens like kuuga and agito. plus this is japan right?

You have to remember, Kamen Rider IS marketed at kids too.They may make it darker to be able to get older viewers, but kids are in fact in the target audience.

Extra points for the "This is Japan, right?" line.

A lot of ideas that are on HJU would make good one shot specials or just toku.Like Kamen Rider G or Garo.I mean Kamen Rider G uses a wine bottle to transform and use a corkscrew as a lance.I think after seeing that, this lighter idea seems pretty down to Earth.

To keep with the number motif, it'd be called Kamen Rider Ligh7er.

i realize that. that why i would maybe make it like shin or maybe separate it from the kamen rider series all together. just keep in mind, it's not meant to be literally a real lighter or real smoking.

the cowboy type of deal would fit the idea of the lighter being the belt since mostly texans or cowboys would use those type. a villian rider would work for this as well.
