Haha, funny you mention that. I just started watching Ryuki and decided to sort of spoil myself and watch the 13 Rider Special.
The RenxShinji subtext is AMAZING. They're totally my Ryuki pairing now.

When I first got into this fandom, I was a pretty rabid yaoi fan girl. However, I couldn't bring myself to slash characters in tokusatsu shows. That might be because the english-speaking female fandom population is (was?) very small.

Kuuga? No slashing. Same with Agito.

Ryuki was a bit gay though. Kitaoka/Goro. And like, Ren and whoever Raia was for that short amount of time (I think this might have just been me though). I don't think I liked Shinji, or I probably would've slashed him and Ren. (Though the movies and ending were kind of gay).

Maybe with an increasing female population, I'll have to start slashing more. Tho, it is kind of annoying to see pairings that make no sense at all. At least no sense to me. XD
