I haven't actually seen the second movie, but I love the first movie. It's one of those guilty pleasures of mine I guess. I remember seeing the movie when I was a kid thinking it was so awesome. Of course now that I'm older and have watched it, it's not a good movie at all, but I still love it just because.
I've seen a couple episodes of the anime, thought it was really good too. I'll have to look in to watching the second movie though

Trust him, it's a good idea. I usually have the outlook that sequels better(which for me, happens about 70-80% of the time), and Guyver: Dark Hero takes the cake of sequels that are better than their predecessors

They are both awesome. I watched these when I was a kid, totally loved them. Nearly **** my pants when I was a bit older and found out about the original manga and the anime adaptations. It was kinda disappointing to find out about some of the other abilities of the Guyver that they didn't include in the movies (gravity controller, sonic buster, head beam (well, except for that one scene in the second; really wish it was featured more)) but still the films are really enjoyable.
