G1's got both good and bad in it... I say if you're not liking it, skip it. Just see a couple.... make sure you watch the animated movie, and I'd say enjoy aaaaaaallll the post movie episodes.

The 25th anniversary season 1 Box Set came out recently, and I got that (Only $20.00, too). There's a nice featurette called Triple Changer, which documents how it went from a Toyline to a comic to a series, that I found very interesting.

The actual season itself was very hit or miss I thought, but got better towards the final episodes of the season.

But is it the COMPLETE season 1? Like, all the episodes?

Season 1 was only 16 episodes long. It was season 2 that was like, 50 something episodes after moving from a Saturday Morning timeslot to a weekday one. (I think)

You guys should definitly check out the G1 84 Movie

1986, you mean.

That is the best Transformers-anything, bar-none. Incredible animation, awesome music & songs, and all-around epic!

I went to see it in theaters with Mom and my big brother (I was almost 11)!

Season 2 comes out in September. The 25th Anniversary "Matrix Of Leadership" Edition is comes out next week with the regular Season 1 release.
