A lot of what he says doesnt sound like something someone would make up for attention
The guy has legit television credentials and he's a pretty decent guy with no reason to lie or overexaggerate, and hasnt as far as his rep in the He-Man community goes. Stan Lee is admitedly scatterbrained too
As usual, skeptic fandom stupidity shines through. No surprise. Beleive what you will, but until you're in his posistion in television, you're not qualified to say **** about what did and didnt happen in development hell, where series take years to become what they become, or don't become anything at all
I feel sorry that Jack's decent enough to put up with some members pitifiul attempts at drawing him into the whole "Disney killed PR" agenda, or begging him to read their fanfiction. Don't they know professional writers can't do that?

That's fine, it's the fact this guy is taking credit for creating Power Rangers, yet nobody has ever mentioned him before. Which leads me to believe Saban dropped his series bible as soon as the series was picked up, and the new writers did their own one. Does that make this guy the creator of Power Rangers? No, in my opinion.
Just like Lloyd Braun is not the creator of LOST, even though he came up with the idea.

Saban, whom Jack talks about extensively in a personal way to the point one would assume there life long friends, didnt dump his bible. The interviews make that quite clear. People added TO it, and more likely had Jack's contribution to thank for the map they were given from the beggining rather than write one from scratch.
Not everyone involved in anything is going to remember certain people. That's a fact of Hollywood, fair or not. You have to be part of that world in order to truley understand it. X will not credit Y if it's closer to Z for an indefinate period of time
Obviously most of the production team that stayed for four to five years and bonded like a family as they extended the series beyond it's original intent will forget details because someone really didnt do a whole lot beyond naming names and doolding characters. Jack makes it very clear he wrote the bible and moved on afterwards, he wasnt around for the bonding, the family, or the success of the show.
Yeah, he likely didnt "create/create" PR, but that's been an ongoing thing for years. Like Doctor Who, where one could say Syndey Newman, Verity Lambert, David Whitiker, Terry Nation, Terrance Dicks, Robert Holmes, Eric Saward, and Andrew Cartmel created the series, PR was created over time by Haim, Jake, Shuki, Doug, Cheryl, Tony, Scott, Judd, and Jackie.

Don't know if the story is true or not. But who really knows? Anything is possible.
It is possible that in some cases the company and company owner took credit and not the individual who actually came up with the thought or ideal.
But I did hear that Saban wanted to go with Zyuranger because of the ideal that children would be more interested in dinosaur mecha than they would be the airplane mecha.
