The B'stard finally finishes Kabuto

So uh, long Shougoesque post about how you felt about the series?

I wanted to spare everyone from that. I'd like to just sum it up with a couple of curse words, but...

The characters were all either foolish, detestable, or useless, remaining unlikable caricatures until the end. Things would just happen in the show without reason, continuity wasn't a priority, the characters had screwy motivations... they clearly had no idea what they were doing with this show. It's partially constructed nonsense.

I still don't understand why people like it so much. It would be a different story if it were bad, but entertaining. You know, like Kamen Rider Blade often was. But it wasn't even entertaining! And I thought Faiz and Blade were really weak shows, but they at least had potential. IMO, Kabuto never even had that, it didn't offer anything.

Were they really serious with characters like Tsurugi or The Hoppers? Couldn't they make up their mind how they wanted their characters, especially Tendou, to be? Maybe they shouldn't have brought in 1,000 characters they obviously couldn't juggle, since many would go absent for lengthy periods of time, only to return with different agendas or even personalities.

Ugh... I can't even imagine kids watching or liking this show. This one was definitely for the housewives -- it's no coincidence that the show serves as a casting pool for nearly every drama that airs.

*sigh* And remember, you asked for it...:P

EDIT: I wanted to at least try to list a few positives.

- Tadokoro.
- Riku Kagami. Hirotaro Honda's such an amusing weirdo.
- Sasword's design.
- The song "One World."
- Yaguruma when he first debuted. Once he kept trying to best Tendou, lost TheBee, and lost his mind, he went the way of the rest of the show.

Was Tsurugi the scorpion Rider? Sasword, I think it was?

Of the episodes I saw, I thought he was the most likeable.
That's him.

He was likeable, but totally wacky for the tone that Kabuto tried to set itself up for. If the series was more comedic, Tsurugi's personality change wouldn't have felt as strange.

I liked Kabuto. As far as favorite riders in show, mine were:

1. Gatack
2. Kabuto
3. Sasword
4. Um... okay, so I didn't like the rest of them. ^_________^

Kabuto steered off towards the middle and end, but it still kicked ass.

Plus, the added sentimental value it had for me.

The awesomeness of Shoug's new Kabuto shirt avvy made me ROFL out of my chair.

Kamen Rider Kabuto was awesome, despite the story in the second half way to the finale. The finale sucked also.

Personally once the 2nd last ep happend (which fucking ROCKED) I didn't even give a **** about what happend in the finale considering I heard Yaguruma didn't even go in for the final battle with Kagami & Tendou.

Hell no! As if his character hadn't been ruined enough by becoming a schizoid whiner after he lost TheBee. The Hoppers were really just a joke, and completely unnecessary (which can really be said about 98% of the show's characters).

Come on, they got owned by a fire extinguisher-wielding Gon, for crying out loud.

They were badass & you know it :D So was the kabuto & the entire tv series as well :buttrock: yes it had its flaws but it was still all very entertaining :)
