The Amazing Spider-Man - Talkback

I was entertained every second of it, one of the best movies of 2012 for me so far, I loved the Godzilla reference that George Stacy made  I wish the Lizard had a snout but I know, I know it's following the old comic's and was anyone else reminded of Kamen Rider eye lenses from Spidy's mask? after the movie was over me and my friend we clapped (but we were the only ones who applauded :redface2:) I can't wait for the sequel I wonder who the guy in the shadows was? theres alot of speculation that it's Shocker (not Kamen Rider ) Electro, Doc Ock, the voice inside Curt Conner's head (most likely not) but it's confirmed it's not Normon Osborn, I also wonder if one of the new Spider-Man movies will feature Man-Spider, Man-Spider used to scare me as a kid but now I think it's cool not sure if they would sence kid's love Spider-Man to and his transfomation might scare them although Peter did grow extra limb's but never mutated in Man-Spider.

Saw it yesterday afternoon, and I must say...it was amazing(pun intended).

It blew the Raimi trilogy out of the water, and I say that as someone who enjoyed the movies(yes, even the third film....begin your flaming now).Andrew Garfield was an awesome Spidey, and I love how he wise-cracked in this film. The Stan Lee cameo was priceless.Oh,and Emma Stone is hot.

Look forward to the sequels, and even though it`s unlikely,I hope they let J.K. Simmons play JJJ if they ever add the character to the films.

I always find myself the only one laughing at the humor whenever I watch English movies. :disappoin

Its funny the other day, me and my black friend were watching some Chris Rock videos and laughing our asses off and our Japanese friends who speak excellent English didn't understand why we found him funny.

Saw the movie on Wednesday. Like everyone else said it's leaps and bounds better than the Raimi movies. I like how everyone actually feels like a real character. In particular Uncle Ben and Gwen Stacey. We actually get to learn about Uncle Ben before his death. We laughed at his jokes, and saw him get angry. His death felt a lot more tragic as a result.

As for Gwen, I'm just gonna get this out of the way. Emma Stone is far more attractive than Kirsten Dunst. Aside from that, I like that she actually did stuff. One of my major gripes from the original films is that Mary Jane in the movies was a pathetic piece of eye candy. It's especially disconcerting considering that MJ in the comics was so well loved because of her fierce personality. Also, it was pretty cool that they were able to give Gwen the classic look with the skirts and hair ribbons.

One other thing I want to comment about is that I'm happy they never said the whole "with great power" line. The thing is, that line has become a parody. It simply can't be taken seriously anymore. The writers managed to convey the same message without ever having to be said.
