The fight scenes better look good with all the fighters in there. I wonder why they chose Christie over Xiaoyu to be the main girl. Doesn't makes sense to me.

I don't get it either...the movies are always different but whatever happens happens.

I've never read anything about them being an official couple. It was more one sided Xiao --> Jin, and Jin just caring for her, like trying not to involve her.

@Wonderwall: True. Adaptions are alway different and since Xiaoyu x Jin is not official, they can basically do anything. But still, it's odd to me.

I think the people that made this did their research, so I'm willing to give this a shot. Plus they didn't even know that they were gonna get a distributor when they showed it back in November.

It's got that low budget feel, but that's whats keeping it grounded for a video game movie. They're not going over the top with CG hadokens or fight scenes on a boat. I love the gritty "rage in the cage" feel. The fact that they got the costumes right and they stayed faithful to original, I don't see how this can possibly go wrong. It seems like they took this adaptation more serious than other video game movies. Definitely watchable.

Oh man, I live how people are bashing this movie already, and they just found out about it. Well, I'm starting to think that the trailer isn't doing as much justice as it could. Maybe if the first trailer that was released was some epic Japanese trailer with one of those Japanese guys voicing it over and making it sound like some serious business, people would start to look at it with a more respective eye.

I HIGHLY doubt that it will. This movie at the very least resembles its video game counterpart, unlike Legend of Chun-Li.
