Candia? :laugh: That's interesting. I've never heard that term and I have never seen it before now. I would have said that it might be because I'm from the Southwest part of the US, but Kaji is from New York and he also didn't know.

Canuck is used for a nick name because of the Canadian Hockey team and since Canada is known for Hockey..... Canucks.

Everyone I know uses that term for Canadians... also, calling the country "Canadia".

Only some uneducated person would call it that. If someone doesn't know it's Canada then they need schooling. I met an idiot who asked me if Germany was really called Germania. I didn't even reply.
