This update isn't too exciting to be honest. I have an original rider or two in the works, just been doing this in my free time instead. So, may I present the 35 Super Sentai Red Warriors....helmets. I don't know if/when I'll ever make the full body costumes or full teams, so I only wanted to make the reds' helmets for now.

Today, I have a new Kamen Rider I've been trying to design/conceptualize recently. His name is Kamen Rider Kiadoz and is based on the zodiac/astrological signs. The name Kaidoz comes from flipping "zodiac" and exchanging a "k" for the "c" because it sound better. I also tried to find some meaning in Japanese and came up with a slightly different name "Kaidouzu" (怪動図/ かいどうず) meaning "The Figure of Mysterious Change" although "zu"/"figure" here means more along the lines of a picture or drawing.
Kaidoz doesn't have access to all the twelve zodiac signs. He henshins by inserting a Sign Key into his belt corresponding to a certain zodiac sign. The twelve Sign Keys were split up and designed to not all can work with a belt, so Kaidoz can only use the five for belts (his final form also does, but I haven't made that yet). All of Kaidoz's forms share the same basic undersuit and eye shape. He henshins by placing the key into the holder slot and passing the entire apparatus over the key reader which allows for form changes. There will be two other riders, Equinox and Obscure, who have a henshin device of a sword and gun respectively that allow them to utilize the other seven Sign Keys. These two riders will have different colored undersuits than Kaidoz and their eyes will be shaped differently.
Kaidoz is primarily a hand-to-hand combat type system. These four forms don't have additional weapons, just what are built into their suits.
His first/default form is Gemini Form on the far left. Gemini Form's weapons are the two blades on his arms he uses up close to slice through opponents. Gemini is the fastest of the four forms. His final attack however is a rider kick where another Gemini appears to deliver twice the kick power at the same time upon an opponent. The helmet is designed after a wolf because Gemini doesn't have an animal and wolf's run in packs. Furthermore, the twins Romulus and Remus of Roman myth were raised by a wolf.
The next form is Aries Form in red based on a ram. Aries has gun gauntlets on both his arms, each consisting of three barrels. The barrels can normally only fire once at a time from each arm. Although the guns allow for some ranged attack, they can't be relied on too heavily from far away. His final attack unleashes a barrage of bullets from all six barrels towards the opponent.
The next form is the strength form Taurus based on a bull. This form is the slowest, but easily the most durable and strongest. It is able to withstand three times the damage from opponents' attacks. His final attack includes paralyzing the opponent with heavy punch attacks then pulverizing the opponent with the large spike on the back of his forearm.
The form on the far right is Cancer Form based on a crab. This form is somewhat water capable, but cannot stay under the water for too long. His weapons are two hooks attached to his gauntlets. Cancer's final attack involves slashing at the opponent multiple times then tearing the opponent apart with the two hooks pulling in opposite directions.
Kaidoz will have one more form, his final form. It will be another zodiac sign that is capable of accessing the other 11 signs/keys' powers. It will kind of be like the Perfect Zecter in Kamen Rider Kabuto where, when activated, the weapon beckons the other keys and deactivates any transformation the keys are involved in at the time. I'm also thinking about making an evil version of Kaidoz, possibly called Darkaidoz.

If I make a separated version, it will be the full suits. And that will be a very future project.

Since Putotyra doesn't mix-n-match, I don't think I want to make the combos that could be made. It would be an additional 91 forms from what I've already made. So yea, not gonna happen....unless I get incredibly bored.

So, I've been working on the Gokaiger cast recently. Here's the five pirates together in civilian forms and each has their own pic as well with weapons and such.
Gokai Red! (Captain Marvelous)
Gokai Blue! (Joe Giben)

Gokai Green! (Don Dogoier "Doc")
Gokai Pink! (Ahim de Famille)
I'm really proud of the civilian appearances. The clothing took quite a bit of work and is taken from the appearances of the pirates in the first episode. Marvelous' coat and Joe's pants are probably my favorite pieces of clothing. I did make the various pieces of clothing that go underneath the jackets and what not, but I thought it was pointless to make an almost "closet set" for each pirate.

Apologies for not updating in a very long time, I've been very busy with summer semester classes.
But today I have a sizable update with lots of new things.
First off, a new original idea I've had. FuJuu Sentai HourouRanger (譜獣戦隊ほうろうレンジャー) or Power Rangers Wild Symphony.
The idea is that each ranger is aligned with a specific animal and musical note, hence the FuJuu part of the name, meaning (musical) note and animal. The Hourou part of the name means "wandering" because I imagined the team traveling around the country/globe playing shows and taking down the baddies. Their roll calls are just simple Hourou *color*.
The red ranger's name is Cody Anderson and he is the leader/frontman of the team. His animal is a tiger and his musical note is a whole note. His weapon is a sword and shield combo.
The yellow ranger's name is Wesley Dogulas. His animal is a cobra and his musical note is a half note. His weapon is actually a pair of pistols.
The green ranger's name is Theodore "Teddy" Reilly. His animal is a bear and his musical note is an quarter note. He's not fond of the fact that his animal is a bear, having the name "Teddy Bear" placed on the coupling by his teammates. His weapon is a large hammer.
The blue ranger's name is Audrey Martin. Her animal is an dolphin and her musical note is an 8th note. Her weapon is a three-pronged spear.
The pink ranger's name is Meghan Jordan. Her animal is an owl and her musical note is a 16th note. Her weapon is a bow and arrow.
The silver ranger's name is Peter Harris. His animal the mythical griffin and his musical symbol (not a note this time) is the treble clef. His weapons are two scimitar-like blades that can be joined at the hilt. He constantly buts heads with the other members because he was a late addition to the team and tends to play any instrument better than the core five.
All of their t-shirts are based on different t-shirts from bustedtees.com.
The design for the team comes from a conductor of a symphony, concert, etc. That's why there are trenchcoat-like tails hanging down and why black tends to be on the outer parts of the body. I had plans for more stuff for each ranger, but decided those plans worked better for a different team/theme.

And finally, GOKAI SILVER in all his (questionable design) glory!
It was fun pixeling this guy even though I'm still not sold on the armor for Gold Mode or on Gai's high pitch annoying voice, but it might become bearable.
So the civilian is Gai Ikari in more magenta/purple hues than silver but that's besides the point. There's Gokai Silver in the normal suit design with the gold "sunglasses" and in Gold Mode with the ugly armor pieces (although I like this form's helmet much better). I also included his ranger key and the gold anchor key and his Gokai Cellular. Then I made his awesome weapon, Gokai Spear in its spear, gun, and anchor modes.
