The new Superman reboot looks incredibly promising. It feels like the people behind this project are real comic book fans. First off, David Corenswet playing Clark Kent is a great choice. He’s got a different hairstyle for Clark compared to Superman, and that’s a big deal for me. In past movies, Clark and Superman looked too similar, which always broke my immersion because the whole “glasses as a disguise” thing just didn’t work. But now, they actually look like two different people, which makes the whole secret identity thing believable again. Also, Nicolas Hoult, who was in the running to play Superman, ended up with the role of Lex Luthor instead. He already seems like a much better fit for Lex than Jesse Eisenberg was.
