Super Sentai Chart

There was a Super Sentai chart posted on the old TVN forums by takenoko I think. It was a .gif file and ended at Magiranger. I don't know who created that chart, but I'd like to thank that person for putting in the time to create the chart.

Using that same design and with R-Lion's original .bmp icons, I redid the chart icon by icon to maintain the original colors. I also added a title column with name and series number. In the second image, I marked all the non-pink members that were women with the "onna" character just as an extra bit of random info.

Unfortunately, R-Lion's been very busy this year with work and moving so has stopped updating the SRC SSRW site.

Wouldn't Melee and Rio technichally count as rangers?

Is this supposed to list all of the colors that have been filled and how many times or all of the colors that have been filled by rangers and how mane times?

Because if it's the former, why is Signalman listed as "White" when he was primarily blue and why is Wolzard listed as "Dark Blue" when he purple?

And if it's the later, why are they (See the 'spoiler') listed at all?

All in all, though, I must say it is a very well done chart and I'm just nitpicking and curious.

I guess the former, but to make a long story short: the chart began as mainly rangers, but as extra characters appeared which I spent a stupid amount of time pondering whether to include or not, I decided to just include them all as my own preference.

By costume color, Signalman should be under dark blue (since we can't have him replacing blue~), and DekaMaster should be under black. But when I did that, the chart didn't look right to me so I decided to place those two by helmet color. Wolzard was also added by helmet color for the same reason, but in this case by the icon's helmet color, and also at the time there was no purple column. Now that there is a purple column, I still wouldn't move Wolzard into it because the chart wouldn't look right to me. Honestly, Wolzard shouldn't even be on the chart as I consider him a bad guy in this form, and by including him I should have also added other "semi-bad guy" icons I had for some of the older series.

This chart is in no way official or accurate as to all the extra characters included or which color they should be under. It's just my rendition of the original chart that I recreated and updated. I would say it's a quick reference chart for which colors have been used for the main rangers as well as acknowledging the extra characters that were featured in the past.
