Super Sentai 40th anniversary theme

I wish they will celebrate the 40th anniversary in 2015 instead. I never like how Toei celebrates the anniversary a year late. Timeranger could have been a good 25th anniversary instead of Gaoranger. Timeranger could have episodes of them going back in time and meeting the past Sentai.

It not about a year. It about how many of them .

I'd rather we get past celebrations until the 50th. Just repeating an anniversary every 5 years will get stale.

Ditto. I'm pretty sure the next anniversary will be more like Boukenger, with subtle nods to past teams instead of something like Gokaiger that brings it all into the plot. I dont think they'd be able to do something that big again and even just trying to replicate it every 5 years would be extremely tiring.

Yeah, uh, breathe vin13ish. Wasn't worth screaming over. Goranger lasted for two years and the franchise had 1978 off while Toei made their Spiderman adaptation, so the years and numbers never really matched up. Although way back when they didn't consider Goranger and JAKQ to be part of the series, they did have a double celebration of Liveman (the 10th actual series) and Turboranger (10 years since Battle Fever J - then considered the first entry - started broadcasting).

I'd quite like to see a 40th anniversary "<team name> vs. Super Sentai" film, as Gaoranger and Boukenger did. But I think another Gokaiger-style massive celebration should be held back until the 50th. It's not special if they constantly do it.

I'll never be able to get people who say that something happening once every five years is "constantly happening". Did you unlock the secrets of immortality or something? 5 years is quite a lot of time to me.

Five years is hardly a long time. I think by 2016, they might able to get most of the cast members from mid 2000's to early 2010's to return. I think Naoya Makoto might return for a voice over cameo.

What past Sentai red do you want to play as a principal of Supe? Sentai University
