Isn't that something that any season could do though? I don't understand the point of wishing the anniversary season were no different from a standard one. That's already what we get in most years. Even if the next festival isn't good, you'll still get 4-9 years of standard seasons afterwards, that try in various ways to use elements of the franchise, as long as the series itself doesn't die.

Well maybe it's just because both anniversary shows had some dissapointing elements for me and both things had to do with the use of older characters. I like callbacks to the franchise more than just giving fanservice with old characters.

A callback to the franchise would be repeating something that was done before. Like W reintroduced the muffler and crusher jaw. Fanservice would be just showing old suits.

Have Sentai goes back to the Goranger theme, have less clustered combination, have a really scary villains instead of a clown, and the actor/ actress age isn't too young? Good enough for me.

My idea is for new team to be compromised of different theme ranger who is a direct descendant from previous team. Some legend ranger has trained their kids/ brothers / sisters to become a ranger to take up the mantle. But an organization picked these kids up to make them a standardized team but each ranger has different type of arsenal such as agent/beast/ninja/martial arts/machine.

Plot will revolve around the team learning to coexist since a ninja working with a beast ranger hasn't been done before. Then various cameo from similar themed past Sentai came to give some advice to the team.

Will be good to do a Gokaiger style with this, since you can just put various Legend in a single episode instead of 1 series 1 episode a la Gokaiger.

Well not specifically just Gorenger, but something that reference back to an old show. Like Torin being Chaos brother had people think back to Dairanger. It'll be things the kids will (Possibly) see things for the first time it'll be something their parents who're watching it with them knows and they can think back to their childhood.

I thought people were comparing that to the character of 'Master Kaku', the Dairangers' mentor? Or have I been getting my Kakus mixed up? :hmm:

Nope. It's me mixing up Kakuranger and Dairanger.
