40th, 45th, 50th Super Sentai?

Since Hibiki bombed I know it's unlikely but I want a music themed sentai. At least one that has it as it's main theme since Goggle V had that as a secondary theme

I think I'd enjoy Sentai hitting a style Tsukada introduced in W and kept in Fourze, and it's even a thing Sanjo carried over to Kyoryuger. Making the "Sentai" aspect important. We keep having Daigo going on and on about them being a team. I'd like to see more teamwork focus and then spicing it up with good elements from the previous shows.

In short, I'd rather want a show that's an anniversary in the form on concepts as opposed to just using the old suits.

Decade tried to have it's own villains interacting with the AU Riders and tried having an overarching story but didn't really do it all too well.
Gokaiger went for a different approach and introduced a big villain group but started putting too much focus on the anniversary aspect of the show pushing aside the villains.

So maybe I really want something that plays tribute to all the aspects of the franchise.

I really think an anniversary series shouldn't glorify villains. The series that get praised for supposedly giving the villains wonderful development and complex motivations are almost always those that try too hard to excuse their actions and even risk making them more important than the heroes. I think the ideal balance for an anniversary show is something like Gaoranger's or Shinkenger's villains - they're still relevant/important to the story, but they don't overshadow the team.

I didn't mean it as to glorify villains. But to not neglect them during the show. Gokaiger felt like it sidelined the Zangyack almost all the time and gave them a little bit of being there. I just want them to actually be present and feel like a threat to the heroes.

All right. Now this is what I'm talking about. A little creativity never hurt anyone. Nice job, Bigdog.

Here's a redux around the theme of 5, though each have their own Sentai system The 50th will have this:

Born on the 15th/1991: Pink/White and Blue are still the leaders, but hail from the daughter of VulEagle and the son of Red One/Yellow Four. Raised in both organizations, one became a hippy rebel risk taker while the other is a hardcore orthodox military soldier. They are the eldest, but while clash, are perfect leaders. Blue and Pink are reversals of gender characterization. Cosmo Vulcan and Biojet 2 are the inspirations for mech.

Born on the 25th/2001: The daughter of Blue Racer and a mechanic/judo expert. A part of the revived EAGLE with Yellow, the 35th born, they have their own Sentai system based on a mix of Goggle V and Carranger. A third member of this year is a Maskman homage. She's green while homage is black.

Born on the 35th. Redbuster and Yoko's son is Yellow at the new EAGLE. He is more like his mother ,yet is afraid of owls.

Born on the 45th. The Red is from the future and is born from KyoryuGreen and ShinkenPink. His cooking skills suck and is unorthodox in his swordmastery. A retainer of ShinkenRed 2079 as Maroon, sent back to prevent the future from destruction. Prototype Timeranger look aside with Zyuranger feels.

Isn't that something that any season could do though? I don't understand the point of wishing the anniversary season were no different from a standard one. That's already what we get in most years. Even if the next festival isn't good, you'll still get 4-9 years of standard seasons afterwards, that try in various ways to use elements of the franchise, as long as the series itself doesn't die.

Some of these suggestions are far too complex and far-fetched.
You guys need to remember that the target audience are children, not us.

Having each individual ranger as a callback to a different decade would be too complicated and wouldn't be relatable to the target-audience. Think of the basic theme first and it'll most likely speak for itself.

The only sensible suggestion I've seen so far is the Kamen Rider and Sentai swapping original themes. It's not too complex, you could already imagine suits for it and there isn't too much focus on the storyline, which leaves writing space for the toys Bandai will want to shoehorn in.
