Super Rescue Squadron: Calamity Zero (RPG Thread)

((OOC: I am very sorry everyone and thank you to those who were concern about me. Things have not been resolved at the moment, but things are very calm that I'm able to resume. Gatack Striker-san, thanks for hearing me out and agreeing, but upon second thought will resume.))

Shina had left Junichi's side for the moment and went into the cafeteria to grab a bite to eat, seeing how they didn't even get a chance. Sitting down at a round table by herself, she started to reflect what had been blurted out during that moment. Should she tell him? What was the worse could happen? And then there was the angle, which they were deceived upon their given assignment.

Reaching for a pack of sugar, the buxom woman poured it into the cup of coffee and cream.

".....What's the worse can happen? If I just tell him...regardless of his reply...at least he would know." She muttered until hearing the sirens go off, and sighed heavily. "Isn't this just lovely."

Kiba entered the debriefing room, looking around at the many people seated along the room. There was an open seat between Kai and Junichi which he spotted, manuvering around the others. Kiba reached his seat, looking around the room for Cheif Saizo. Nowhere to be seen. Turning to his left, Kiba saw Junichi, his commanding officer, sitting next to him. Kiba extended his arm to him for a handshake. "Hi. I'm Kiba. I'm new on your team... I don't think we've met."

Standing in the briefing room with Kai, Junichi looked at the monitors silently, somewhat annoyed that the police chief was nowhere to be found. I wish you would hurry up with whatever you are doing, Chief. I am not going to waste my time looking at monitors showing a revolving 'Global Police' logo all day long, Junichi hissed, his patience growing thinner by the minute. However, his thoughts would then be interrupted by a half-lizard creature sitting next to him, expressing a friendly demeanor in spite of his frightening visage. "Hello, Kiba. I'm SRS Captain Junichi Michimura. I've heard so much about you from Officer Tsukasa. She was definitely impressed by your shooting skills," Junichi greeted, shaking the half-lizard's hand as he smiled. Unlike Inose and Maki, Junichi was not at all disturbed by Kiba's appearance.

Kai was brought out of his negative funk by Junichi and Kiba talking to one another, and it made him happy to see someone treat the lizard-bug as a part of the team rather than judging on Kiba's appearance. I knew the captain wouldn't treat Kiba badly, like Inose. He actually respects life, unlike a certain chief of ours... Kai's mind, however, drifted as he saw a familiar face in the room with Natsume. So...Aya-chan's back. I don't want to show my face around her. Not after what I did... Kai was back in his depressed state again as he went back to waiting for their chief to come and debrief them.

(OOC: Just a little foreshadowing, Zaku. Hope that's alright with you...)

Ryu sat alone like always and saw the others walking in including Kiba the newest on the team. "He looks cool and he was really impressive during the last mission even saved my life. I should thank him later once this is over." He thought wishing the Chief would hurry up and tell them what was going on

Kiba smiled, blushing slighty about his skills being admired. "Well, I'm okay I guess but..." The sound of the debriefing room door opening caused the entire group to look in it's direction. Entering the room was Chief Saizo, his face serious and stern. Kiba had not known of the Yuki situation and did not know of the malice the others held toward him. Saizo walked toward the end of the table, placing a file at the front of each agent. He then turned to the agents, addressing them.

"Good day, agents. As you already know, we are currently under a code blue situation." Saizo pressed a button on the end of the table, a large monitor descending from the ceiling. The monitor lit up, showing a split screen of a nuclear facility. "This... is the Crosswinds Nuclear Plant, the number one power plant for Crosswinds City. It runs on nuclear energy exported from biodegradable radiation generators, allowing it to power 3/5 of the city's power. next to our headquarters, it's one of the most important structures around." The chief pressed a second button, the monitor showing the nuclear plant surrounded by police cars, fires on several of the buildings windows. "Seven hours ago, the security guards working there were killed during a hostile takeover of the building, the twenty-three engineers inside held at their mercy. The Crosswinds City PD was called in the diffuse the situation, but any attempt they've made has met with disasterous results. The terrorists idenities are currently unknown at this time, but it is safe to assume that Red Sigma is behind all of this. That being said, I've placed you into two differnt groups based on your specialties. Captain Junichi will lead a team consisting of Officer Kiba, Prince, Kai, Shina, Natsume, and Ryu to infultrate the building, dispose of the terrorists, and rescue the hostages. Officers Maki and Miharu shall assist the wounded police officers outside the building While Officers Tsukasa and Yuki feed the officers inside new information as it comes up. Now that you all know your jobs, I suggest you suit up and head out." Saizo pressed the button on the desk, the monitor going black and sliding back into the ceiling. Then, he walked out of the room, gently closing the door behind him.

(OOC: Okay We're halting posting in SRS for the time being due to the fact that Gatack left and we have no idea what is going on with Henshiner's plan which he could of told Gatack, but currently since I have to help run this in his absence I would like it if Henshiner send me an outline of the current ideas for the arc,we're having a great lack of communication from both sides, and people seriously need to check there PM boxes. Right now the biggest question is what's the purpose of the current assignment of the characters because, it only somewhat logical sense so I think Denjin is contacting you about it please make sure to reply, rpg should continue again tonight, send me question is you have em)

(OOC: Okay, Zaku told me to lift the lock, so posting can resume again. I'm sorry for the trouble.)

Kai shook his head after Saizo left. Figures. Still treating Natsume and Yuki as nothing more than equipment. Bastard... Junichi felt the same way, but this was no time to dawdle. "OK, officers, we have a hostage crisis to avert. Let's get moving. Kai, I want you to go on ahead with Natsume and Aya." This brought a look of shock on Kai's face. "I know you guys have your...differences, but you should get to the scene first and prepare for our arrival. That and in case anything major happens before we get there, you'll have an ANGEL Unit to back you." Kai merely nodded as he got a cold stare from Aya. "Got it. I'm going now." With that Kai left the briefing room, with Aya and Natsume right behind him, but not before Natsume gave one final look to her sister before leaving. Worry showed up on Tomoyo's face as she watched the three leave. Kai...don't be too hard...on yourself. I'm...as much to blame...as you... Junichi continued. "Miharu, alert Tsukasa, Maki, Inose, and Ren. Give them their assignments." Miharu nodded and left to do her assigned task. "Everyone else, get there as soon as you can. We'll go over strategy once we get there. SRS, move out!" Junichi gave a salute to his fellow officers and left the briefing room, towards the vehicle garage.

Kai had reached his motorcycle as Aya and Natsume entered their own command car and waited to follow his lead. To think...that I'm leading you two again. Please, God, I don't want a repeat of last time. Gunning the engine on the Alpha Runner, Kai sped off with Aya and Natsume close behind. In the command car, Aya's cold gaze was fixed upon Kai while she drove, as she still didn't forgive him on what he did to Natsume. "Kai...I'll never forgive you..." The ANGEL Unit's runner whispered under her breath.

Tama scowled slightly, but walked off to the hanger to find his "royal steed", as some of the employees called it. /Why did the chief use my codename and not my real name, like the others?/ he asked himself, but he knew "Tama" wasn't his real name. It was really the name he had picked out for himself, but the family name was the name of his creators. He sighed, shutting the memories back into his "central thought database", or mind as he preferred. back to the Chief Issue(Well, on of them). /Still, it's degrading when you're the only one not called by their real name./ He thought. A quick dash later, he was in the hanger, looking around for his "royal steed".

Ryu walked out of the briefing room and went straight to the hanger to get his cycle. "Well better get to the area before things get out of control" He thought as he saw Prince also in the hanger looking for his "Royal Steed" as most of them called it. He found his bike got on and started the engine then gunned it to the location. "Might as well get there fast" He said before he took out his Kinnkyu changer and transformed into Gold Beet.
