I'm not upset that they had him transfer/give up/whatever his Gavan powers. I'm more upset that they just kicked him to the curb. He should have been kept on as a mentor to Geki.
At least he gave Geki the you ara a man aren't you punch.

Is that different to the "I AM A MAN!!!" punch? :anime:At least he gave Geki the you ara a man aren't you punch.
[HIDE]I'm not liking the previews for this so far. After the criticism that SHT got for its story, they've seemingly completely given up on the whole idea of featuring as many series as possible as part of the main story's scope and writing around that, and seem to be focusing on a single main plotline with few shows figuring out in the scenario.
I fear this will end up like Let's Go Kamen Riders, with just a tacked on all heroes battle at the end, considering how they still use old all heroes scenes in the teaser, but not actual new scenes for that up to now... The execution of the first SHT could be done better in various aspects, which is why I hoped a sequel fixed those issues. However, they seemingly have just given up on that original scope here... Of course, I guess many people seem to be happy with this direction, but I think it's a waste. There are many other opportunities for more self contained stories, but very few for the scale shown in the first movie.[/HIDE]
Also, I can't help but feel that so many people are exclaiming how this plot is so much better not because of what it was (since they complained bout LGKR too) but simply because it is different to the first SHT.
