i have to get this off my chest: i have stuck up parents that dont want me to talk to girls online because they think im going to get hurt physically, i mean its one thing that they dont want me to have toys but not letting me to talk to girls online and be happy for once in my life, im just about not to talk to them anyone and disrespect because they have none for me accept for my brother because he has all the success, job and gf and they love to shove it in my face, i havent had a girlfriend since i was 17.

has anyone have stuck up parents like this?

its parents job not to understand, but it is a bit harsh then again my mom used to think I was flirting or going to get hurt with female friends I had IRL as well as online ... okay graunted back when I was 14 - 16 I was flirting with most of them but its just your parents looking out for ya

The guy had lots of problems on his parents. But c'mon, I thought you are already over 20 and you let your parents control you. You need to talk to them about this ,atter and not in this forum. Only you can help yourself in that matter.

First with parents on your toys,now with parents on talking to girls.What's next?Your parents complaining about your existence?

Seriously,think through carefully.Some parents are overprotective.Please appreciate that extra protection.At the least,they care.But if you really want your own awesome life and you're at adult age,why care so much about them.

Oh oh,and,your parents are not stuck up.They are just probably traditional and protective of you.Stuck up is a wrong description.

And going to disrespect your parent because they don't respect you?Tell me in what way did they not respect you?Did they say something and then go back on their words?Did they abuse their trust you had in them?Ya,you can say they don't respect you,only your brother gets respected.

The reason is simple,you probably have nothing to make them think they should respect you.Parents shouldn't respect you in the first place.But if they did,it means they are proud of you.That's all.
