Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li - Talkback

Because he's a Saiyan, thus his skin color is out there. And well in Z Toriyama did put in the idea of Saiyans being stereotypical Americans (look at how Vegeta, Goku, Nappa, and Raditz act). Besides its not like it would completely change the story if he was Hispanic, White, Japanese, whatever.

okay, as long its not some racial stereotype like that

One hilarious tidbit about the film I forgot to mention:

According to how the film played things out, apparently Balrog's punches give you cancer. You see Balrog punch Chun Li's mother in the head in one scene, and the next time you see her she has cancer for no given reason.

Watch out for Michael Clarke Duncan, if you get punched by him you're gonna get cancer

Watched this peice of **** over T.V. links and I have to dissagree. I was laughing my ass off the whole time

personally i think that the right direction to go for a street fighter movie is to have it star Ryu and Ken because let's face it, those two are the iconic characters of street fighter

will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever happen.

I just returned from seeing the movie. In a nutshell, this isn't Street Fighter. Change the title and character names and you'd never think it was. This movie has everything from the blatant mispronouncing of character names and organizations to seriously bad acting. Now, some I've talked to have overexaggerated by saying this film is completely unbearable. I found it to be bad, yet tolerable. However, this movie has so many flaws. Bison's backstory is just plain ridiculous. Of all the things Bison could do with this criminal empire, the worst is to tear down the slums and make a neighborhood? Where's the mad psycho power driven warlord we all love?

Chris Klein gave us the most laughable performance as Charlie... I'm sorry, Nash. No comment on Taboo's so-called "acting". Vega only had like 4 lines in the whole damn movie. Balrog was really the only character that stayed true to his video game counterpart. The only positive thing I really have to say about this movie is that Kristin Kruek was gorgeous. She may not look the part, but she's real eye candy.

That being said, I don't think I'll be getting this movie until it hits the $6 bin.
