Street Fighter II V

I got this series off one of my buddies and watched 2 episodes yesterday and I must say I really enjoyed it. I ain't much of an Anime fan but this I can stand.

I'm at the part now where Ken & Ryu decided to go around the world to fight other underground Street Fighters and I am excited to see what happens next.

Guile really kicked their asses, eh.

Is this a series? I thought there were only 2 Anime Movies? :sly:

It's a series. With English dub and no watered down ****. There is actual swearing and everything.

It seriously kicks ass. This is what I've been looking for in an Anime, not little Poket Monsters running around.

I also got Gungrave, Ghost in a Shell, and tons of Gundam off my buddy. :buttrock:

Meh... It was an ok series. Really, you'll only like it if you're a Street Fighter fan. Personally, they fucking ruined Cammy in this series. I mean just wait till you get to Cammy.. Her little scene of "Murder" is pricelessly hysterical (in a stupid unintentional way. I mean ****.)

Not to mention they dont have any powers in the beginning and Guile beats the **** out of Ryu and Ken. GUILE of all characters. He's just a bad ass apparently. When Ryu finally does get his powers (this series is supposed to take place before the fighting, when they dont have powers and are going to get them) he takes forever to shoot one fire ball. I mean FOREVER. And any little sound or thought will distract him. Anything. It could be a random thought of ice cream and he would stop what he was doing and ponder on it before resuming his Hadouken ball.

Some of the fights are good I suppose, though. Ken's got a gay thing going on with Ryu, I swear. Zangief is a riot. "Hey there little friend!"

Meh, it's got some good fights. It's fun for fans of the SF game series. But overall it was more fun to pick on the show than to love it.

I also believe the animated movie did the game series more justice than this anime series.

Hell yeah it did. They got Cammy right in that movie, that's for sure... CANON SPIKE!! >_< so cute.

But dont get me started on the Alpha movie. =_= that movie SUCKED.

I'm a bit crap at the video game (although I still enjoy it sometimes), but I wouldn't mind checking out this Anime sometime.

As for Cammy being ruined, I'll try not to let that put me off, since I'm more of a Chun Li fan myself!! :anime:

Yeah chun li is in there. I forget if she had any action scenes though. They did her a little justice. She's cute and what not. Oh yeah she does have action towards the end. I remember now.

Yeah, II V is better than the majority of anime out there.

Yeah Chun Li is in the series, she has some kind of relationship with Ryu and Ken, she starts off as some kind of tour guide for 'em and they become freinds (which of course does'nt shut up Ryu/Chun Li fans, I'm one of 'em but preferred the relationship she shared with Guile in the SF II movie)
