This was made in around 1987 or so, and was MTV's first cartoon series (or, rather, "cartoon serial"), if memory serves me correctly. They should get this to DVD pronto!

I saw it on MTV in early 1990 (when I still lived in the Bronx), and thought it was really cool, and it still is! What really got me was how they used Godzilla and Toho Tokusatsu music (mostly by Ifukube) and sound FX in the soundtrack! That really got me hooked on this series!

The Flash-animated sequel, made a couple years ago, wasn't as cool, but it was okay.
