So I attempt to tune into Jerry Springer for the first time in 2 years and I find out Steve has taken over and now has his own show?...

I remember that Steve used to take over the show when Jerry Springer couldn't handle it. But, from now on?????? that's another story.

But seriously, how long has this show been on. I thought jerry was the judge for America's Got Talent?

Steve spun off into his own Talk show, doing a more serious tone than Jerry. Jerry is still going though last I saw, he has a new security staff and everything.

Steve's show been out longer than that I was watching during the summer. Now if Jerry decided to end his show because he thought it was time then that's another thing entirely. But for a while you could see a first run Jerry in my area airing on a different channel at the same time as Steve.
