Stargate - We all love it really! :D

C'mon guys! What's better (other than Toku) than a science fiction show about an ancient alien device that can de-materialise you and send you to another world in our galaxy? Really great characters (and actors), great storylines, cool battles, awesome enemies and started off as an EXCELLENT movie. Amanda Tapping (aka Lieutenant Colonel Samantha Carter) is HOT! I love SG-1 and just ordered Season 1 Volumes 1, 2 and 3. It says that on the Season 1 set there is brief nudity and gorier Goa'uld symbiotes and is rated R. DVD only Pilot Version episode. Hopefully the volume 1 episode is like that. I want nudity! I really love Atlantis too. Heh, the UK finished it before the US. Really awesome and gripping series. Am gonna purchase Volume 1 when I get paid. It's not out in Canada until June 21st! :laugh: Anyways, I know RiderFaiz is a fan of Stargate. C'mon guys, get stuck in!

Awesome. Yeah, it was when it was first shown. I've never seen the pilot episodes.... From now on, when the episode repeats, no nude scene or gorier Goa'uld symbiotes...

Well, they had to pull some stuff to break it into two episodes, so that'd logically be it.

I think I saw the original ep when the premiere repeated, but I have watched the DVD pilot and the brief nudity isn't a big deal.

The gorier Goa'uld scenes gave me the twitches, though, and I had to look away (partly that I'm squeamish, partly that my imagination anticipated even worse than I figure was really there in the first place).

Are they really that gory? They scare me wherever I see them. They are just so freaky and to me, the Goa'uld are the best bad guys in a Sc-fi show ever! The Wraith come a close second, they're just ruthless. BTW, anyone got any pics of the gory symbiote?
