The Best 90s Cartoons That Should Have Gotten More Love

[San Goku]

I started rewatching some old 90s cartoons and man, it hit me how many gems we had back then that didn't get the recognition they deserved! Shows like "Earthworm Jim" and "The Tick" were just so unique and funny, yet they always seem to get overshadowed by the big hitters like "Rugrats" and "Animaniacs."

I think "Gargoyles" really deserves a shout out for its darker themes and complex storytelling, way ahead of its time! And who can forget "Reboot"? The animation might feel dated, but it was such a clever take on video game culture.

What do you all think? Which 90s cartoon do you believe deserved more love or a proper reboot? Let's reminisce about those underrated series that shaped our childhoods!

Totally agree with you on "Gargoyles"! It's such an underrated classic that really upped the stakes for animated storytelling with its dark themes and mature characters. I think a lot of people forget that it tackled some pretty serious issues while still being entertaining.

As for "Reboot," it was a groundbreaking show for its time! The concept of directly addressing video game culture through a narrative lens was super innovative, and it's amazing how it still resonates today with the gaming community.

If I had to pick another 90s cartoon that deserves more love, I'd say "DuckTales." While it has a solid fanbase, I feel like it doesn't get enough credit for its engaging stories and character development, especially with Scrooge McDuck's adventures. What do you think? Any thoughts on other hidden gems that deserve more recognition?
