Nah-ah. He went from a warrior of light saving the galaxy to a child killer in the span of a couple days.

That... is a result of being so strong in the Force.

couple of days? Hes killed women and Children before. He's lusted for power, revenge, and has been on the path of the darkside since he was a CHILD. Hello. REmember Yoda giving him the speech about the path to the darkside? He sensed suffering in Anikin. And fear. In Episode 2 I thought it was obvious Anikin was no hero. He was a daring warrior but far from being a hero who did the right thing. I think you need to pay more attention to the movies.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

lol best line in the movie, so hilarous.

Actually that was cheezy but that wasnt the best line. The most hilarious part (to me) was when the Emperor asked Anikin to kneel. That entire scene was just wrong "Ooooh yess.. the dark side is strong with you.. mmm use your tongue more there anikin. aaah yess. goood.. gooood." Lmao! I had to try really hard not to bust out laughing.

He went from carrying a friend through a falling ship and carrying about his wife... to killing innocent children in a couple days.

I'm not saying his path to the Dark Side only lasted a couple days.

Well, in the final ep of Clone Wars, Grievous abducted Palpatine and just as he was about to escape with him, Mace showed up. Grievous was all set to fight him, but Mace Force-crushed his chest before he escaped. Hence, the weezing and all that.

OOOOHHHH!!!!!!!!

My friend and I went last night but by the time we got there it was sold out. We got there by 9:10 (movie start at 9:55) but I guess we weren't earlier enough to get the tickets.

In episode 2, he mentions that one day he will be able to stop people from dying. Because he was scarred from the fact that he couldnt save his own mother. A Jedi, deluded as a kid that he was all powerful in the force. Now has that empty feeling of helplessness. Now skip for Ep 3. He has dreams of his love, Padme, dying in Child birth. Now shes pregnant. Its coming to pass. Anikin doesnt want her to die. Palpatine tells him the story of the Sith Lord who had the power to "Stop people from dying". He could bring them back to life as well. Keep them alive. He cared about his friend. But you cant ignore the fact that he did kill women and children before. You dont think hes capable of doing it again? He turned gradually. PAdme was going to die, he saw this. And he allowed himself to serve the dark lord so he could learn this power too. Then in the very end, notice his reactions. He now reveals that he will kill the Dark Lord when hes learned th secrets of saving life. And that he and Padme can rule the senate as they see fit. They can make the rules so they dont have to suffer in hiding anymore. They dont have to run away from anything anymore. It was a gradual progression. He didnt come up with these crazy ideas on the spot. He did what he had to for Padme and for his love of Padme.. and when she refused him.. well we know what happened.

I think a great deal of Anakin's problem was that he bought into the hype about himself, let the idea that he might be some mythical Chosen One make him believe that he was destined to live a life greater than that of any other Jedi. It gave him unrealistic expectations for himself.

I saw it on Satuday got the 9:50 showing, i got a question though

Did Obi-Wan cut off both Anakin's legs and one arm? If so how did he do it?
