It's back and being made by Cryptic! I just hope they keep some of the ideas from the original concept. Stuff like having starships full of PCs, and the FPS away missions were all really awesome. Hopefully they don't go the "everyone's a captain" route. Then it would just be EVE Online with Star Trek.

I was hoping they'd start this back up, going through the academy and all that, getting up to captain, ship customization... MUST...HAVE...NOW! :anime:

I'm slightly dissapointed that every player commands their own ship, but it might still be ok. I'm really sad that away missions are just point and click. The FPS style away missions from the original concept were a great idea.

Okay, I have to admit that I only watched the trailer, I didn't know about any of those details. Unfortunately you just have to expect point-and-click combat form an MMO, but hearing that everyone has their own ship is a pretty big letdown.
