SPOILERS: Your thoughts on Hina

Which is considered obnoxious in Akiko's case and boring in Hana's ( as she barely has a personality beyond Imajin-bashing and playing tough).

Could she be obnoxious? Yeah. Is she actually a good and useful character in W's story? She sure is. You can hate her all you like and not even like her but she's not by any means a terrible character just because she pisses you off.
Just saying.
Hina's just kinda there for the moment but she may change. Although she is a quicker thinker then most like how she escaped Uva that one episode.

I'm judging simply based on the first 16 episodes. I have yet to actually finish W. (I shall once A-Z is released)
