Spider-Man joins the FF

I agree that Peter makes sense, but he shouldn't be here if he already a member of two Avenger teams. See this why Marvel has been getting under my skin, they make such a big fucking deal that Peter being married ruins his character yet the same people force him onto team after team. Peter Parker the eternal outsider is on more teams than everyone else except Wolverine. Peter Parker is racked by uncertainty, he is always afraid that he is going to make another mistake that costs someone their life which is why he puts up the bravado. He doesn't work in a permanent team setting because of this. He could work with the Fantastic Four because they weren't a team, they were a family which could provide the trust and support Peter needed so he could actually be himself. I just don't think that is what is going to happen here sadly since if they did that it would make his Avenger's appearance seem shallow.

Hickman has managed to draw out the more emotional and good qualities of the FF. Unlike some other mismashed teams I think he actually has a reason to use Peter. I'd rather not judge this till it actually happens though.

Honestly I just don't see Marvel allowing anything that will make their over-priced Avengers titles come off poorly. Not really an issue though since I doubt the Spider-Man editors will allow Hickman much freedom with the character anyway. I mean how long was it before Bendis was allowed to address OMD in New Avengers?

Explain? Read it again... You said 3 hexagons but spidey doesn't... I said two hexagons are black which is the common thing for them... Just say you didn't see the shapes in the spider insignia and that would be it.

You didn't refer to Spider-Man, this is why it didn't make sense.

I find he works really well in New Avengers, which is more of a familynfriends-type Defenders unit.

Those suits look pretty fucking badass. I would have preferred a less popular character though, like Moon Knight, but I will defiantly be picking this up

The costume is meh and Spidey being on teams is meh but I do find Peter's motivation in joining the team at least to be something fairly plausible for all that it stems out yet another character-death stunt to fluff sales.
