screw the preview, cause i can't really decide what to put in..this ep is so explosive, its so much longer than the other episodes before it, and what's even more interesting is that there is very little DekaSuit acton in this episode.. enjoy!

03:25 - was the time on the dashboard of a Toyota Corolla Police Fast Response Car (FRC), which was driving around a quiet industrial area. The officers were alerted to a break-in and within 15 minutes they were looking around the area in their car.
"What's that?" one of the officers, a Sergeant, spotted a shadow of a person, which then disappeared behind a building.
"Okay Cheng," the other officer, a Station Insp., said. "Time to work."
The both of them stepped out of the car and looked around the dark area, with their right hands placed cautiously on their revolver holsters. They entered an open warehouse which was pitch black, save for the moonlight seeping in through the open rollers.
"Hello?" Sgt. Cheng called out. "Is there anybody there?"
"Seems like a false alarm.." SI Pang said. "Let's go back to the car lah."
"Okay," Sgt. Cheng replied. Both men took off their peak caps and headed for the exit. Suddenly the rollers dropped and shut the warehouse. "What the?!"
"Sergeant! Stay calm!" the SI Pang shouted. The whole area was pitch black, and they could not see a single thing.
"Goodbye Sirs.." a person who was observing them with night-vision goggles from a higher place whispered.
"BANG!"
"Argh!" SI Pang dropped to his knees, as the lights of the warehouse were switched on.
"Sir!" Sgt. Cheng shouted, running towards his superior.
"Take cover!" SI Pang, with a bullet lodged in his right thigh, motioned to his partner.
"BANG!"
"Aargh!" Sgt. Cheng was shot in the back. The impact from the bullet sent

A police cordon was setup in the wee hours of the morning. A caretaker had reported the two dead officers and stationary patrol car in the area. Lots of police cars surrounded the area, drawing some attention from the early birds in the neighbouring apartment blocks.
"It's a 5.56mm, same one as the other murders," the forensic scientist observing the bronze-tipped bullet, said to the investigating officer, Insp. Sean Han from the Criminal Investigation Department. The forensic scientist was the same person as in Episode 14, Dr. Soo. "Penetrated into his back, into his liver."
"Aw man," Insp. Han said, with an American accent, resulting from his 10 years living in America when he was a child. His partner, Sgt. Yeo Lay Kim, was taking down notes as Dr. Soo spoke. "5.56mm again.."
"How about the other officer?" Sgt. Yeo asked. Dr. Soo got up and moved over to the other body. The left arm was missing.
"These people seem to hate the Police alot," Dr. Soo said. He turned the body around. "Cuts on the uniform, and the officer's ear had been cut off, as well as the first, second and fourth toes on his right foot, and the second and fifth toe on the left. The cuts seem fresh."
"How fresh?" Insp. Han asked.
"Very," Dr. Soo replied. "Any fresher you'll have to cut it yourself." he said, quoting a line from a Peel Fresh fruit juice advertisement.
"Yeah Dr. Soo..." Insp. Han went, as Sgt. Yeo rolled her eyes. "Don't get started on your jokes again.." he knew Dr. Soo too well, a genius who sadly, often cracked cold jokes.

"Tonight on News 5 Tonight, another two police officers have been found dead early this morning at a warehouse in Jurong," the female news anchor said. "This brings the number of dead police officers in the week to 9," she continued. "The Police believe that the culprits possess heavy firearms, and would like to warn the general public to be cautious."
"BANG!" a 9mm Glock pistol was fired at the TV screen, smashing it. A gang of five boys in their late teenage years were sitting around a plasma television in what seemed to be a large bungalow.
"Bastard news station..." one of the boys cursed.
"Hey Lawrence," another one shouted to the boy who shot the TV. "That plasma TV costs thousands!"
"Never mind," Lawrence replied, picking up a cigarette and smoking it. "I can always buy another one.. Where money is concerned.. I am king!"
"Yeahhh..." the other four cheered. Going around the room, Frankie, Johnson, Elson, Robert and the owner of the house, Lawrence.
"Your parents not coming back tonight?" Elson asked Lawrence.
"I thought I told you that they went for a cruise to nowhere?" Lawrence said. "Will you remember only if I point this gun at your head?"
"Chill lah Law," Johnson said. He was the oldest of the group, but Lawrence was still the leader. "Where's Kat? She's not going for the party?"
"Kat? She's probably getting scolding from her brother or parents right now!" Lawrence exclaimed, which drew laughs from his gang.
"Hey, I heard Kat's brother is a police?" Frankie asked.
"Wanna..." Robert cocked the M16 which he was holding.
"Crazy?" Lawrence shouted. "He's from that don't know what...Special Police D...D..."
"Dekaranger?"
"Yah, yah," Lawrence said, remembering the name of the organisation.
"No need to be scared!" Robert exclaimed, patting his chest. "If I'm not scared, why should you all be?"
"Heh..." the others began to get funny ideas.
"We'll lure them out.." Lawrence said evilly. "Whoever kills one Dekaranger... gets $500 000 each from the rest..."
=======================================================
The Machine Doberman, Machine Husky and Machine Bull are patrolling together, around the city. Since the existence of a heavily-armed gang was known, police patrols have been stepped up. Black vans containing members of the Special Tactics and Rescue (STAR) unit from the Special Operations Command (SOC) have also been spotted frequently, parking along the sides of the roads in the city as well as in the neighbourhoods. The Dekarangers were patrolling in civilian attire.
"Hello?" Weijie said. He had answered a call to his mobile, using a wireless headset, while on the bike. "Mum?"
"Weijie?" his mum said. "Is your sister with you?"
"No Mum, I'm on patrol now." Weijie said. "What about her anyway isn't she home?"
"Nope," she replied.
"I know just where to find her," he said. "I'll call you again later. Yeah. Bye." he pressed the button on his mobile, which was attached on top of the bike's gas tank.
"What's up?" Basil asked, retracting the driver's side window of the Machine Doberman.
"My mum called," Weijie said. "I gotta go get my sis."
"Go ahead," he said. "We'll cover you."
"Thanks," Weijie gave a thumbs up and rode off, turning at the next junction. Meanwhile, the Machine Doberman and Machine Bull continued their patrol.
=======================================================
Slow motion shots of Lawrence and his four accomplices shooting at eight STAR unit officers. Members of the public were running in fear. One was shot in the leg, and he fell to the ground, his squinting eyes displaying signs of extreme pain through the single eye-hole on his balacava. Another officer was shot in the back, the bullet piercing through his spinal cord. He fell to the ground unconscious.
"Retreat! Retreat!" the leader shouted as the speed returned to normal. The remaining six officers slowly took steps backward. On their minds was the invincibility of their foes. How were five amateurs able to fight it out with eight expertly-trained tactical police officers? They were running out of extra ammunition, and seriously needed to back out from the gun battle to theri command post to reload.
"Argh!" one of them was shot. He fell onto the ground, clutching his thigh in pain. The remaining four, two of them wounded, managed to escape into an alley. Robert and Elson went up to the three officers who were injured, and shot them in the heads, in front of the remaining members of the public who were taking cover. The bullets pierced their balacavas and entered their skulls. Everything became pitch black.
=======================================================
The Machine Husky was speeding on the road, its siren on, but on silent mode. Lawrence and his gang, all fully masked, were on an overhead bridge, waiting for the bike to pass under it. As Weijie passed underneath the bridge, the five masked maniacs threw a body in a fully-equipped Police Special Operations Command uniform down.
"Eh!?" Weijie exclaimed, as the body hit onto his bike, causing him to lose control, and turn sideways awkwardly. Cars swerved out of its way. Just before the bike skidded on its side, Weijie jumped off. "Emergency!" he shouted. The DekaMetal formed over him and he somersaulted in the air, landing on the roof of a moving car. "Sorry," he told the driver, and jumped off the roof, onto the road. DekaBlue looked up at the overhead bridge, and saw the masked five on top. "They must be..."
"Hahaha.." the gang laughed, and ran off from the bridge. DekaBlue chased after them, trying to squeeze through the public. He took out the D-Knuckle and D-Rod, combining them into the D-Sniper.
"Stop!" DekaBlue shouted as he ran. Although he was carrying a firearm, he was not keen on firing as there were innocent civilians in the streets.
"He's catching up!" Robert shouted to his friends.
"Let's split up!" Lawrence said. The others nodded, and the five ran in separate directions. DekaBlue opted to chase after Lawrence. Turning round a corner into an alley, Lawrence ripped off his jacket and continued running. He turned to another corner where the entrance to the disco was. Throwing his mask aside, he entered the disco named Zouk. Weijie came out from the alley and went up to the disco. He had seen Lawrence run into the disco.
"Police." Weijie flashed his warrant card to the bouncer, who immediately let him into the disco without question. Zouk was a popular nightspot among young adults, and it being a Saturday night, the crowd was extremely larger.

An urgent meeting was called for by the Police Commissioner, involving the Commissioner-level officers, as well as Commanding Officers from all line divisions, including S.P.D.
"Now. I have called for this urgent meeting because the situation is getting out of hand," the Commissioner of Police (CP) said. "Earlier this evening I was watching the news and they reported that nine officers had died. Just half an hour ago, I received a report that a body in a STAR uniform was thrown down from an overhead bridge near Chinatown!"
"There was a gunfight earlier Sir," Supt. Charles Yip, CO of the Special Operations Command said. "Eight of my officers were engaged in a battle, only three escaped unharmed. Two were injured."
"How about the other three?" the Commissioner asked.
"Dead, Sir."
"We cannot trust the SOC with this operation anymore," a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) declared. "Neither can the CID do anything about this."
"What do you suggest we do?" a Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) asked.
"Insp. Gan," the DCP called out for Meng Yeow. "I have gone through your unit's track records, and I am pleased to know that, even though you have the smallest unit in the whole of the SPF, your officers' level of efficiency is the highest."
"Thank you Sir," Meng Yeow replied.
"Since the CID and the SOC are unable to handle this menace," the DCP said further. "The case will be passed to S.P.D." he declared. The other Commissioners and COs nodded and looked at each other, agreeing with the decision.
"So it's settled then?" the Commissioner said.
"Insp. Gan," Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC) Winston Choo, CO of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) said. "Send your men to the Special Investigation Section first thing tomorrow morning. Insp. Sean Han will pass the case files to them."
"Yes Sir." Meng Yeow replied.

Inside the disco, trying to endure the thumping trance music, Weijie was searching around for the person who matched the assailant who fled earlier. He went up to the bartender and described the features of the person. The bartender shook his head and continued cleaning wine-glasses.
"One Sex on the Beach," a female voice behind Weijie said, ordering a cocktail drink from the bartender. He seemed to recognise the voice, and turned around to see his sister, with a strangely familiar-built man with his hand around her. He was slowly slipping a pistol into her large handbag, without her knowing.
"Chua Weiting!" Weijie shouted at his sister. His sister quickly pushed the man's hand away from her, upon seeing him. The pistol dropped into her bag, as the man turned his head. It was Lawrence!
"Who are you?" Lawrence pushed Weijie's shoulder.
"Oi!" Weijie shouted back at him, pointing his left index finger at Lawrence, and his other hand firm on his SP Shooter holster.
"Lawrence!" Weiting stepped on his foot. Weijie pulled out his warrant card.
"Hello friend," he said threateningly. "You better keep your filthy alcoholic hands off my sister..."
"What if I don't? What can you do?" Lawrence shot a dirty glare at him. "Hit me? Come on!"
"You.." an angry Weijie grabbed Lawrence's shirt, and suddenly realised that he fit the description of the escaped assailant. He put his hands on Lawrence's pockets to search for firearms. Nothing. He stared into Lawrence's eyes for a moment. A crowd soon gathered around them.
"Come on... I'm waiting.." Lawrence instigated him. "At the most I'll file a lawsuit against you!"
"File it all you want.." Weijie pulled Lawrence closer to him with his two hands, and glared angrily at him. "I'm going to hang you myself.. You bastard... Don't think I don't know who you are..."
"What is this? A threat?" Lawrence asked. "Hey people! A police officer is threatening to beat me up!" he shouted to the people.
"ARGH!!!" Weijie threw Lawrence down to the ground, and pulled him up by the head. He smashed Lawrence's head onto the bartop, and grabbed his sister's hand, pulling her out of the disco.
"Kor!" Weiting shouted. "What's with this unreasonable behaviour?!"
('Kor' is another word for 'older brother')
"What's with YOUR unreasonable behaviour?!" Weijie shouted back at her, and looked away.
"I'm just hanging out with my boyfriend.."
"YOUR boyfriend.." he shouted back. "YOUR mother is waiting for you at home. And yet you don't even give her a call to tell her you're not coming home early. All you do is PARTY, PARTY, PARTY. When will you ever learn?" he reprimanded her.
"Yah...Yah.." She just yawned and nodded, having heard the same thing over and over again, countless times.
"Are you listening to me? If you want to party, CHOOSE the right guy!" he turned around and went straight to her. "Do you know WHO the hell he is? And what he DOES when you're not around?" Weijie asked her, pointing angrily at the disco entrance.
"He's Lawrence Tan," Weiting replied. "A rich boy.."
"Rich..." Weijie muttered. "No wonder he had the money to buy those weapons.."
"Weapons?" Weiting asked. "What are you talking about?"
"Yah.. You don't KNOW?" Weijie raised his voice again. "Your so-called BOYFRIEND killed NINE police officers!"
"Kor don't be ridiculous!" she exclaimed.
"Why not you call him and ask right now? Huh?" Weijie threatened. She shook her head and reached into her bag. She felt something hard and cold, and her expression changed. "What?" Weijie asked. "Scared to call?"
"Kor..." she said, pulling out the pistol.

The main section of the Straits Times, Singapore's national newspaper, was thrown onto a desk. Its headlines read:
"SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND LOSES GUNFIGHT TO GUNG-HO FIREARMS GANG. THREE MORE OFFICERS DEAD."
Meng Yeow set his cup of coffee down on the octagonal table. Only he and Christina were left at the DekaBase, after the rest were sent on patrol duties.
"Three more officers dead," Meng Yeow sighed.
"That brings the number to twelve," Christina said, shaking her head in disgust. "And these are men with families, children, relatives, friends. Men who are willing to lay down their lives for the public."
"I know they can do it." Meng Yeow said. "I have faith in them."
=======================================================
Basil and Rebecca were ordered by Meng Yeow to pick up the case files from Insp. Sean Han from the Police Cantonment Complex, where CID HQ was. Both of them, in full uniform, went up to the office of the Special Investigation Section.
They seemed out of place in a department where almost everyone was plain-clothed. Basil approached one of the officers, Sgt. Alan Leong, a balding man who seemed to be full of experience in the Force.
"Hey," Basil said. "Do you know where I can find Inspector Sean Han?"
"Sir?" Sgt. Leong said. "His table is over there... Not sure where he went.." he said, pointing to a desk some distance away, near the window. Just then, Sgt. Yeo came in from the lounge with a cup of coffee, and saw her colleague talking to two uniformed officers.
"Alan.." she called out. "What's up?"
"Yah ah Kim.. These two officers here are looking for Insp. Han.." he said, as both of the S.P.D officers turned around.
"Kim?" Basil said, recognising her.
"What are you doing here?" Kim smiled back, putting down her cup of coffee. Alan went back to his desk to read some books.
"Just getting some case files..." Basil said. "So this is your department.."
"You know each other?" Rebecca asked Basil, then looked at Kim.
"My younger cousin," Basil said. "I never expected you to be in Special Crimes." he said. "Anyway, Kim.. This is my partner, Rebecca."
"Hi," Rebecca smiled as both women shaked hands.
"What department are you guys in huh?" Kim asked.
"S.P.D." Basil said.
"S.P.D?" she was surprised. "Don't bluff lah..."
"It's for real lah!" Basil said. He took out his SP Shooter and showed it to her. "This is enough proof right?"
"Ooohh... So why are you looking for Sean?" Kim asked.
"We're taking over that.." Basil was flicking his fingers nervously, trying to remember the case. "Heavy firearms case. Yeah."
"I'll get the files for you lah," Kim said, walking over to Insp. Han's desk, and picking up a small stack of files. "Insp. Han is my partner, so it's convenient I pass you the files while he's not in the office." She passed the files to Rebecca.
"Say thanks to Insp. Han for me okay?" Rebecca said.
"No problem!" Kim replied, smiling again. Suddenly, a sloppy-looking, but tall Eurasian man wearing jeans and a red plaided shirt over his grey t-shirt stormed in.
"Sergeant!" he said to Alan, walking past Kim and the two S.P.D officers. "Stop reading your retirement plan, we've got a case."
"To where Sir?" Alan asked, putting away his books. The Eurasian officer was rummaging through his drawers, looking for his revolver.
"No time to waste ah.. Another officer found dead.." he said, putting his revolver into his pocket. He was Eurasian but spoke with a distinctive Singlish tone. "Come on lah, what are you waiting for? Christmas?" he asked impatiently, then went out of the room.
"Ok..Ok.." Alan took his warrant card and pinned it to his shirt, then made his way out, passing Kim and the two S.P.D officers. "See you later ah Kim."
"Bye Alan," Kim said, as she watched her senior colleague dash out after his younger superior.
"Who was that fellar?" Rebecca asked. "So sloppy."
"Inspector Herbert de Souza," Kim replied.
"Isn't that supposed to be our case?" Basil asked Rebecca.
"Yeah, it is," she replied.
"Then what are we waiting for?" he asked. Both of them turned around and dashed out of the room.
"Bas, you're always like that.." Kim laughed. "Take care!" she shouted after them.
"You too!" her cousin shouted back from the corridor. The Machine Doberman blasted out of the carpark, with its distinctive sirens blasting through the streets of Chinatown.
=======================================================
Insp. de Souza and Sgt. Leong were at the crime scene, with Basil and Rebecca. A police constable ran up to Insp. de Souza, with a knife and a note inside a Ziploc bag.
"Sir we found this on the body.." the police constable said, passing the bag to Insp. de Souza. The Inspector held the bag up and looked at the note, trying to decipher the handwriting.
"Special...Police...Deka..ranger.." he read out, drawing Basil and Rebecca's attention. "If...you...want..to..play..a game...with us.." he continued. "Come... to Kaki Bukit...Industrial..Park...Block...3015E..9PM.." Insp. de Souza looked at the two S.P.D officers.
"This people are not joking man.." Sgt. Leong said.
"So, how?" Insp. de Souza asked them. "Need any backup?"
"I think you really need some backup Staff.." Sgt. Leong cut in.
"We definitely cannot provide backup lah Sergeant.." Insp. de Souza said. "I heard they target balding police Sergeants.." he said, poking fun at Sgt. Leong's balding. Rebecca covered her mouth as she giggled.
"We'll have a go at this, alone." Basil said, taking the Ziploc bag off Insp. de Souza's hands.
"Then... Good luck ah.." de Souza said, patting his shoulder.
"Thanks Sir," Basil said, as he and Rebecca turned back to the Machine Doberman.
=======================================================
The S.P.D officers, sans Meng Yeow, who was away at another command meeting, met outside the factory at 8.45PM. They were all in full police uniform, a sign of their unity as a department.
"So, they want to play us out huh.." Weijie said.
"We won't let them," Rebecca said.
=======================================================
The Commissioners were having a video conference with High Commander Numa O.
"This operation concerns the reputation of the Singapore Police Force," Numa O said. "As well as the Space Police."
"Inform the media," the Police Commissioner told his secretary. "Let's put a good show for them."
"That's a very good idea Sir," an Assistant Commissioner said.
"Instruct the S.P.D," the Police Commissioner said to Meng Yeow. "This will be a shoot to kill."
"Yes Sir," Meng Yeow said.
=======================================================
"It's eight to five.." Nick said. "This is our night."
"Jace, this is your first big operation as an S.P.D officer," Christina said. "Don't disappoint us."
"I won't!" she smiled at them.
"This time, as Sir instructed, it's a shoot to kill," Justin said.
"This is the time to prove," Basil said, looking fiercely at the others. "No one is to -****- with the S.P.D."
"Dekaranger, go!" Yi Qin jumped in joy. A moment later, the eight of them walked in a single file, straight into the deathmatch arena.
The five gangsters are watching them from a room attached to the ceiling and the upper ramps of the warehouse.
"This is it.. Remember our plan.." Weijie said.
"Ready.. One.. Two.." Elson turned off the power supply, as the lights in the entire warehouse went dead. The rollers went down, shutting off all external light.
"Anyone of you shoots him dead before I do," Lawrence said, cocking his M16. "I'll shoot you." he said. The five of them ran to their respective positions, just as the lights turned back on. The eight officers were nowhere to be seen.
"What the?" Frankie relaxed his firing position, and looked around. He turned around, as Christina and Jaclyn grabbed him behind and kicked him in the stomach. Weijie and Nick went up to the second floor to attack Robert.
"I heard.. the S.P.D was very good at martial arts.." Elson threw his gun on the ground. "Fight me!" Basil stretched his arms, and threw his SP Shooter and T-baton on the ground.
"Come on," he dashed in with a high kick, which went over Elson's head. Elson drove a punch into his face, which resulted in him bleeding a little from his mouth.
Yi Qin came face to face with Johnson, who was holding a 9mm pistol.
"You stop now," Yi Qin said, pointing her SP Shooter at him. She fired a shot, which he dodged. Johnson pulled back, and fired a shot at her.
"Danger!" Justin pushed Yi Qin off the walkway, and took the shot for her. Yi Qin fell onto a large cushioned area. He ended up with a gunshot on his thigh.
"Hahaha..." Johnson walked straight at him with his pistol fixed on him. As Johnson was about to fire, a yellow laser pierced through his chest, and he fell to the ground, revealing Rebecca a distance behind him, with the SP Shooter in her hands.
"Phew..." Justin blinked his eyes, and dropped flat on the ground, relieved that he had just escaped an ominous death.
=======================================================
Nick and Weijie were two-on-one against Robert, when Weijie spotted Lawrence inside the room.
"Go for him!" Nick shouted to Weijie. "I can handle this fellar!" Weijie nodded, and ran for the room.
Christina and Jaclyn tied an unconscious Frankie up, and hung him upside down on the railings of the 2nd floor walkway. Weijie entered the room, and without any warning, Lawrence jumped straight at him.
"GRAAH!!!" Lawrence pushed Weijie onto the ground, and punched him continuosly, forcing him to drop the SP Shooter from his hand. Both were punching and turning around on the ground non-stop. As he turned another round, Weijie pulled out a revolver, and pointed it at Lawrence's head, just as Lawrence pointed one towards him too.
"You won't pull the trigger.." Lawrence said, with beads of sweat dripping down his head.
"What makes you think I won't?"
"You're a cop. Cops don't kill." Lawrence said to him, with fear in his voice.
"All I'm doing is following orders." Weijie said. "I just blast your head off, write a report, and another new day begins. As for you..."
"Bastard." Lawrence pulled the trigger, but the chamber clicked. His eyes widened, as he stared at the muzzle of Weijie's revolver.
"You're out of ammo," Weijie said. Basil kicked Elson in the face, knocking him out cold, just as a loud gunshot echoed throughout the warehouse.
"BANG!" the seven of them ran closer to the window, and looked up, to see the outcome.
"Bastard. Why call yourself?" Weijie said, kicking Lawrence's lifeless body off his. He lay down on the floor, his hands spread out, with an empty revolver in one. There was a gunshot on his forehead.
=======================================================
Upon news of the team's victory, Meng Yeow rushed down to the warehouse with the Police Commissioner. There were four ambulances, a dozen police vehicles, and a ton of media crew surrounding the Machine Doberman, Machine Bull and Machine Husky. As the Police Commissioner's vehicle entered the area, all the police officers in the area saluted. The driver got out and opened the door for the Commissioner to step out.
"Looks like a very clean job," the Commissioner said.
"Guys!" Meng Yeow shouted to the team, as the eight of them came out from the warehouse, with visible bruises on their faces, with Basil and Nick assisting the injured Justin. Nonetheless, all of them had a victorious, satisfied look on their faces.
"Sir!" Jaclyn, Yi Qin and Weijie ran towards Meng Yeow, as the others hurried behind them.
"Good job," Meng Yeow patted Weijie on his shoulder. "This will definitely go down as a departmental milestone."
"Not at all Sir.." Weijie replied. "I'm just relieved to know I've saved my sister from danger."
"Huh?" the others looked at him.
"No nothing,"
"Anyway we proved that nobody could destroy our unity!" Basil shouted, raising his hand, causing Justin to fall down towards the right, as nobody was supporting his right.
"Argh..." Justin grimaced in pain.
"Ay, careful!" Rebecca exclaimed.
"Hey friend," Basil helped Justin up. "Sorry lah.. Come we'll bring you to the ambulance." Nick nodded and the two officers brought their injured colleague to the paramedics.
"Meng Yeow," the Police Commissioner called out to him. This was the first time he was calling him by name.
"Sir!" the remaining S.P.D officers saluted their Commissioner.
"You guys have did a very very good job.." the Commissioner said. "I'm glad to see young officers like you people laying your lives on the line for the sake of maintaining order. As a form of thanks, the Home Affairs Ministry has indicated that all S.P.D officers will have a 15% wage increase from next month onwards!"
"Thank you Sir!" they shouted in response, happy to hear the good news.
"By the way, how old are you?" the Police Commissioner asked Yi Qin.
"23, Sir." she replied.
"Are you sure?" the Commissioner asked. "I thought you were only 15..."
"Aaah.. Why does everybody say that?!" Yi Qin whined. "Do I really look like a kid?!"
"YES, YOU DO!" the other S.P.D officers, except Meng Yeow, responded her, followed by a chorused laughter from the Commissioner, Meng Yeow and the few of them.
