Rebecca and Natalie stand back to back as they are faced with a Makojin and an Alienizer.
"Emergency!" Rebecca shouted, brandishing her SP License.
"Henshin!" Natalie said, as she struck her henshin pose. Both heroines transformed into their alter-egos - DekaYellow and Masked Rider Eve.
"Special Police Dekaranger!" DekaYellow shouted as she struck down the Makojin.
"Masked Rider Eve!" Eve shouted as she kicked down the Alienizer.
"New, Super Hero Hour!" the two heroines stood side by side again, and looked towards the camera.

"Ding, dong!" the doorbell rang.
"Go answer it," he patted her on the shoulder and hurried into the kitchen. Yi Qin, dazed and confused, went up to a door and opened it, but darkness greeted her. "That's the storeroom silly, the main door is over there," her "husband" said as the doorbell rang again.
"Oh," Yi Qin remarked. "How, silly of me," she then darted towards the main door and opened it. She was greeted by her guests - Meng Yeow, Christina, Rebecca, Justin, Weijie, Nick and Ashley.
"Hey!" they exclaimed.
"Hi guys," Yi Qin smiled. "Its relieving to see you!"
"What's up?" Weijie asked as he stepped in. "Your husband not treating you well?" he teased, as he took off his shoes and put them on the shoe rack. "Hey bro, doing the cooking eh?" Weijie shouted into the kitchen to Yi Qin's husband. As the whole group stepped into her place, she looked out for two missing persons, but to no avail.
"Where's Basil and Jaclyn?" she thought to herself, looking straight down the corridor of the apartment block. Suddenly, Jaclyn, in a blouse and jeans, came running into her flat.
"Sorry, I'm late," Jaclyn smiled.
"It's okay," Rebecca called out from inside the house. "We all just arrived." Jaclyn looked at Rebecca for a while, seeming to remember something, then she snapped back to her senses.
"Oh, I see," she said. "By the way," Jaclyn turned to Yi Qin, reaching into her handbag, and felt something cold. "What's this?" Jaclyn asked herself, and looked into her handbag. Her entire life up to the moment where she was sent into the dream world flashed before her.
She was holding onto Rebecca's SP License.
"It's her SP License," Jaclyn said to herself, looking at Rebecca. "Now I remember why I am here." she recalled, turning her attention to Yi Qin. She was busy smiling and laughing at the others' jokes. "How am I going to get to her..."

"I wonder how long is this going to take," Weijie said, leaning backwards on the pink cupboard in Yi Qin's room, as the sound of a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train passing by filled the room.
"Getting restless already?" Rebecca asked.
"I wish we had something else to do," Nick said. "Maybe like.. an Alienizer or what.."
"Why don't you guys just go play pool," Basil suggested. "Eastpoint Level 4, Zone X." he said, referring to the mall which was a five-minute walk
"You know this place quite well eh," Ashley joked. "Must have been here many times.."
"Aiya," Basil tried to defend himself. "She lives so near to me, basic courtesy to drive her home after work everyday what... Sometimes when she invites me back for dinner, how can I refuse?"
"Woh woh.." Nick and Weijie teased.
"Don't forget she was my sister's secondary school classmate," Basil retorted. "I've known Qin since I was in poly."
"Please lah you guys," Rebecca rolled her eyes. "Can you guys be a bit more grown up?"
"Guys," Meng Yeow said sternly. "Either you all go play pool or be a little bit more orderly in here," he said.
"I'm going for pool," Nick said, raising his hand. "Who's with me?" he asked. Only Weijie and Ashley agreed with him wholeheartedly, and raised their hands.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Weijie asked, seeing that there was no more response from the rest. The three of them made their way out of the room and towards the main door of the flat. Moments later, Meng Yeow's cellphone rang.
"Hello?"
"Gan," came a female voice. "It's Danielle here."
"Danielle?" he said in a surprised tone.
"I'm thinking of.."
"Hold on a while," he said, and went to the living room to continue the conversation. He took a seat on the sofa. "Yeah, what's going on? Where the hell have you been recently?"
"I heard that Aburera went away to finance some outplanet deals in another system," she replied. "So I trailed him, but I came back with nothing."
"Oh."
"Ashley still doesn't know I'm back on Earth?"
"He doesn't even speak of you," Meng Yeow replied. "Why?"
"That boy," Danielle chuckled. "He's probably never seen the Brighter side of me yet, aside from the extremely tough Special training."
"Correction," Meng Yeow replied, getting the joke. "He's the only one besides me who has seen your Brighter side."
"Well, Jaclyn saw me too I guess."
"Really?" he asked. "You didn't mention anything.."
"I never really thought about it much, but you can see the way she talks to me. It's a little different," she said. "How's Carrie?"
"She's doing well," Meng Yeow said. "Though I haven't really been talking to her since this epidemic struck.."
"I heard about it," Danielle replied. "Well you'd better take good care of her, before I.."
"Before you what?"
"Just kidding," she said. "Anyway, I can offer you some advice in curing this epidemic."
"Like?"
"Telling you that its caused by an Alienizer would garner enough interest wouldn't it?"
"Who?"
"Yuiruwa-seijin Mime," she said, pausing for a while. "This Alienizer works by eating the girls' lifeforces while they dream."
"How come Basil's sister, and a few others were able to break out of Mime's control?" he asked, getting confused.
"Will," she declared. "They had strong and dominant will."
"You mean to say Yi Qin's will is weak?"
"You can say that too," Danielle replied. "Unfortunately."
"I've sent Jaclyn into her dream to break her free," Meng Yeow informed her.
"Hope she succeeds." Danielle said. "I heard that Mime can be destroyed from inside the dream."
"Is it?"
"Meanwhile, I think you should send the other guys to this.. Fire safety carnival? Haha.." she laughed.
"Fire safety?" Meng Yeow asked. "The one downstairs?"
"The one near Yi Qin's place, yah." Danielle said. "Organised by Changi Fire Station. HQ told me they called DekaBase but nobody was around."
"Well, okay lah," Meng Yeow agreed. "I'll send the guys, but how about Mime?"
"I trust Jace," Danielle replied. "Remember the offshore mission?"

"Yi Qin!" Jaclyn called out to her. "Can I talk to you for a moment. In private?"
"Sure," Yi Qin replied. She led the way as the two of them went to a corner of the apartment, near a window facing the road. "What's going on?"
"Don't you feel anything strange?" Jaclyn asked her. "Don't you feel that this world is not real at all?"
"You feel it too?"
"I don't," Jaclyn replied. "I'm here to bring you back to the real world, out of your dream."
"I've been dreaming all this while?" Yi Qin asked. "How did you get into my dream?"
"Something Justin built.." Jaclyn said. "I also have this.." She opened her handbag and showed its contents to Yi Qin.
"SP Li..?"
"Shh!" Jaclyn exclaimed. "The rest of them are not in their dreams.. So those people you see sitting over there.." she trailed off mid-sentence as Yi Qin widened her eyes. "Do you have yours?"
"I remember putting it underneath the coffee table.." Yi Qin replied.
"Not so fast!" came a sharp female voice. The two of them turned to see a female alien, dressed in a silver and black robe-like gear, with red fiery patterns on the black portions.
"It's you!" Jaclyn shouted.
"Guys, Alienizer!" Yi Qin shouted. "Why aren't you doing something?" she asked. The others looked blankly at her, stood up, and turned into Anaroids. The Anaroids raised and lowered their hands, looking at each other and nodding in a mechanical manner.
"When the androids couldn't duplicate you I knew something was wrong!" Mime exclaimed.
"Qin, your SP License!" Jaclyn shouted as she dashed at and pushed Mime to the ground. Yi Qin nodded and ran towards the coffee table. One by one the Anaroids pounced on her, as she struggled out of their grasp to reach for her SP License. "Emergency!" shouted Jace, who pulled out the SP License. Almost instantly, she was engulfed in a yellow light. "Face on!"
"Jace.."
"D-Stick!" DekaYellow shouted, pulling out her baton to slash the Anaroids' backs. The three who were pressing down on Yi Qin's back where thrown off by the strike, and she could now freely reach for her License.

Basil walked into the arcade where the three were having a round of pool. He looked around, and suddenly caught a pool ball which was flying in his direction. It was the red 5 ball. He glared at it for a while.
"Eh," came Weijie's voice, as he walked over to get the ball. "What's wrong? Scared?"
"No," Basil replied. "I kinda had a vision as I caught the ball."
"What vision?" Nick asked, throwing the cue stick over to Ashley.
"Hmm.." Basil said. "I can't remember anything. Anyway," he started. "Sir asked us to go down to that fire safety carnival at the big field downstairs."
"Huh?!" Ashley exclaimed. "What for?"
"He received a call from W/Insp Hon saying that the SCDF requested us to be there so that the kids would be attracted to come to the carnival."
[SCDF = Singapore Civil Defence Force]
"That meddling woman again," Nick said. "She's beginning to get on my nerves."
"Precisely," Weijie said. "When did we become a kids' attraction?"
"W/Insp Hon?" Ashley was confused. "You guys know her full name?"
"Nope.." Nick replied, as Ashley calmed down.
"Pay up guys," Basil said, throwing the pool ball at Nick. "We've finally got some work to do," he said, walking out of the arcade as the others reached for their wallets.

DekaYellow and DekaPink were having no problems cleaning up the Anaroids. DekaPink swiped her D-Stick, hitting one Anaroid off, then using it to poke another. DekaYellow kicked an Anaroid away, then turned her attention to Mime. DekaPink joined her shortly after.
"So how do I escape from this?" DekaPink asked.
"There is no escaping!" Mime exclaimed.
"You need to have a very strong will," DekaYellow replied.
"Oh," DekaPink understood. "That's easy!" she slotted back her D-Stick and pulled out her SP License. "SWAT Mode..." she bent and turned backwards, and then threw her right hand upwards. "On!"
The SWAT vest formed over her, and from her helmet's sirens, telecommunications devices extended.
"SP License set!" The SP License was slotted into the holster on her vest, as the Number 5 glowed in bright pink. "D-Revolver!" The D-Revolver materialized and dropped into her hands. "DekaPink!" she proclaimed, pointing her D-Revolver upwards. DekaPink nodded and charged at Mime.
"Stupid girl!" Mime said, and stepped aside, letting DekaPink run past her in fury. DekaYellow watched on and winced at her partner's failure. She, too, pulled out her SP License.
"SWAT Mode..." DekaYellow bent and turned backwards, and then threw her right hand upwards. "On!" she exclaimed, but nothing happened. "On!" she shouted again, but nothing happened. "Eh!?" DekaYellow exclaimed, bringing the SP License down and looking at it. "On!" she tried once more, but as with before, nothing happened.
"Haha?" Mime asked. "Wearing out before you even started?" she raised her right hand and moved it in a circular motion in front of her, generating sparks. The environment gradually changed into that of an open pavilion with lush greenery all around and a pond nearby. There was a Chinese pagoda nearby.
"Huh? Chinese Garden?" DekaYellow exclaimed. Mime shot a lightning bolt which hit both DekaYellow and DekaPink. The two of them were thrown into the air, as sparks flew from DekaYellow's suit and DekaPink's SWAT vest. Both of them landed on their backs, groaning in pain, as Mime laughed at them hysterically.

Jaclyn, seated on the chair, in an unconscious state, suddenly spat out blood from the injury she sustained.
"Jace!" Christina exclaimed, moving over to attend to her.
"Don't touch her!" Justin shouted. "We still need to wait till Yi Qin is awake!"
"But we can't.."
"I trust Justin," Meng Yeow replied, cutting through the tense emotions. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a tissue pack, handing it over to Christina.

"Qin!" DekaYellow shouted, recovering slowly from the blast. "Why can't I use SWAT?"
"Err..." DekaPink pondered for a while. "Because you weren't trained to handle the equipment! The voice-activation for SWAT Mode doesn't recognise your voice!"
"Huh, like that one ah?" DekaYellow asked. "I can't believe I can't even control my own dream!"
"This is not your dream my dear," Mime said. "This is little miss pink's dream!"
"Control... dream..?" DekaPink stopped and thought. She looked on as Mime grabbed DekaYellow by her helmet and started bashing her in the stomach. "That's it!"

"And now we have... A special guest appearance by four members of the Special Police Dekaranger!" said the emcee, a guest celebrity, of the Fire Safety Carnival, who welcomed the four officers onto stage.
"I can't believe I'm doing this man!" Nick complained as the four of them went up the stage.
"I love the lights," Ashley said, smiling and raising his hands proudly. "It makes me feel so.." he scanned through the audience, and briefly saw Danielle. "Bright?"
"Wha?" the other three turned to look at him.
"The lights make you feel bright?" Weijie asked. "Have you lost your mind?"
"Er.. No.. Nothing," Ashley shook his head. He looked up again and saw Danielle glaring at him from a distance. He then turned around and looked down. "****.. ****.. Don't tell me she's really here.."
"So, can you tell us about your job?" the emcee asked. He walked down the row and stopped at Nick. "How about we ask the tallest? How are you?"
"Er, well," Nick stammered. "I'm fine."
"Who are you?"
"I'm DekaGreen," Nick replied.
"Oh the green guy," the emcee said, surprised. "I always thought Red was the tallest. Anyway, what do you guys actually do?"
"We handle all types of criminal activity as long as it had been conducted or has connections with alien criminals."
"I see," the emcee replied. "Who's the leader?" he asked. The other three pointed to Basil. "So it's you, DekaRed?" he asked, and Basil nodded in agreement. "Since you're Fiery Red, have you ever started any fires yourself?"
"Well," Basil thought for a while. "Many times actually, seems like everyday I start one fire."
"Everyday!?" the emcee was stunned.
"Yeah," Basil replied. "I have to start fires before I cook anything." he said, imitating a frying motion. The audience laughed at his joke. "No, seriously. We do start fires all the time. Everytime an Alienizer is judged and deleted, he or she explodes and burns to death in the fire."
"But those fires don't last long right?" the emcee asked.
"Think of them as campfires, they burn till there is nothing left to burn," Weijie replied, helping Basil answer the question. "Only that we don't dance around them and sing songs."
"I see.." the emcee nodded and walked over to a nervous-looking Ashley. "My, you look nervous."
"It's feeling a little cold," Ashley said, trying to put up a front.
"So, do you have anything to say to the crowd?" he asked Ashley, at the same time putting the microphone in front of him.
"Don't do drugs!" Ashley shouted into the mike. The other three turned and looked at him. The audience remained silent, and the emcee, shocked.
"What the heck is his problem?" screamed the expression on Weijie's face.
"Don't play with fire!" Ashley corrected his sentence, as the audience started clapping.

"Qin!" DekaYellow exclaimed to warn DekaPink as Mime pushed her away to dash towards her.
"Hah!" DekaPink sent a powerful punch into Mime's chest, sending her splashing into the pond. DekaYellow looked at her in surprise.
"Where did you learn to punch like that?" DekaYellow asked.
"This is MY dream, remember!" DekaPink exclaimed. "Dreams are all my hopes and thoughts! Even though she can control the surroundings, ultimately this is my dream!" she exclaimed. Mime crawled up from the pond, exasperated. "D-Sword Vega!" DekaPink shouted, as the Commanding Officer's signature weapon appeared in her right hand.
"This is getting fun!" DekaYellow said. "Hybrid Magnum!" she shouted. Magically, DekaRed's trademark weapon appeared in her right hand. "Strikeout!" she aimed the gun at Mime, and shot out a powerful fireball at Mime.
"This sword is heavy!" DekaPink exclaimed, lugging the D-Sword along with her. "I wonder how Sir can hold it with such ease!" She ran, struggling with the sword.

"Lieutenant Basri will demonstrate to us how to put out a fire with a fire extinguisher," the emcee said. The Lieutenant stepped up with a fire extinguisher, and walked over to a cabinet with a stove and frying pan set-up for the demonstration. Another Civil Defence specialist lit a match and threw it into the frying pan. In a moment the entire pan lit up in flames.
"So this is basically a simple household situation where an ignorant cook leaves the pan to answer a phone call or something, and it catches fire," Lt. Basri said. "All I need to do is pull out this ring, and press the trigger," he said, performing exactly what he had instructed. A stream of water shout out from the fire extinguisher, as Lt. Basri tried to put out the fire. Unfortunately, the flame shot out and shocked him. The Lieutenant and the safety specialists jumped backwards to avoid being burnt by the larger fire. "What the hell?"
"Hahahaha!" came a sinister laughter which echoed throughout the tent, as the fire grew, almost burning the top of the tent. The crowd started running away, as the four Dekarangers on stage began looking for the source of the laughter from where they were standing.
"Funsha Ken!" Danielle appeared amongst the crowd, bringing out her Brace Throttle and revving it. "Impulse Fist!" she shouted, throwing her fist towards the flame. Water shot out from the Brace Throttle, clearing the fire in the pan.
"Aaaagh!" came a voice from the flame, as it danced away from the pan. By this time, the crowd had dispersed and were taking cover at the void decks of nearby apartment blocks.
"The flame is dancing away?" Basil looked at it in confusion.
"Brace Throttle!" Nick recognised the trademark weapon. "She is.."
"DekaBright," Ashley replied, trembling with fear.
"DekaBright?" Weijie asked in confusion. "Eh, you okay or not?"
"She was my trainer at HQ," he said.
"She?!" the other three guys were stunned.
"Ashley!" Danielle screamed at him. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Nothing Ma'am!"
"That is the problem!" Danielle exclaimed. "You're doing nothing when an Alienizer is attacking!"
"Sorry Ma'am!"
"Change now!" she commanded to the others, who nodded. "Emergency!" she shouted, bringing her right hand across and pressed the M button on the device. "DekaBright!" DekaMetal formed over her body, she had a chest shield, and shiny, reflective material on her costume.
"Face on!" she shouted. Her helmet was of a unique shape. Her visor was larger than the others, but did not extend all the way to the sides.
"Emergency!" the four guys shouted as they struck their transformation poses.
"Dekaranger!" Basil, Weijie and Nick exclaimed, pressing the middle button as the front panel of their SP Licenses popped open.
"DekaBreak!" Ashley shouted, pressing the VI button on his Brace Throttle.
"Face on!" the four of them shouted, as their helmets materialized over their heads.
"DekaRed!" he posed, bending halfway downwards, facing the front with his right hand stretched out backwards.
"DekaBlue!" he posed, left hand spread out towards the front, while his right hand, also spreading, stretched out backwards.
"DekaGreen!" he posed, right leg raised halfway, with both fists clenched, right hand raised halfway across his body, left hand raised up.
"Facing the darkness of the universe.." DekaBreak raised his left hand and closed his fist gradually. "Crushing the daunting evils of deep space..." he raised his right hand and smacked it into his left hand. "Lightning officer!" he raised his right hand into the air, then bent down and brought it to the left. "DekaBreak!"
"Shining my light through the darkness," the new warrior said. "Evil I do not fear!" she declared. She snapped her fingers, and threw her right hand up. "Shining officer!" she proclaimed as she pulled both her hands to the right forming an X-shape, then throwing her left hand out. "DekaBright!"
"Now who's the Alienizer?" DekaBreak asked.
"Korachekku is a mischievous one," DekaBright replied, looking around the top. "He's not working for Aburera, though he likes to commit arson for the fun of it."
"How severe?" DekaRed asked.
"How's 162 cases across Andromeda, and another 23 here in our Solar System," DekaBright replied, providing full statistics. "His crimes left thousands dead, and hundred billions of dollars in property and financial losses!"
"He's there!" DekaBlue shouted, as he saw a flash of red disappear behind the exhibition panels. He ran towards the exhibition panel and looked behind it. Nothing. "Is that right?" he turned around to walk back to the others, just as the flame attacked DekaGreen from behind.
"Argh!" DekaGreen dropped to his knees as the flame wrapped itself around his neck, increasing the temperature rapidly.
"Nick!"

"Guys," Meng Yeow said sternly. "Either you all go play pool or be a little bit more orderly in here," he said.
"I'm going for pool," Nick said, raising his hand. "Who's with me?" he asked. Only Weijie and Ashley agreed with him wholeheartedly, and raised their hands.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Weijie asked, seeing that there was no more response from the rest. The three of them made their way out of the room and towards the main door of the flat. Moments later, Meng Yeow's cellphone rang.
"Hello?"
"Gan," came a female voice. "It's Danielle here."
"Danielle?" he said in a surprised tone.
"I'm thinking of.."
"Hold on a while," he said, and went to the living room to continue the conversation. He took a seat on the sofa. "Yeah, what's going on? Where the hell have you been recently?"
"I heard that Aburera went away to finance some outplanet deals in another system," she replied. "So I trailed him, but I came back with nothing."
"Oh."
"Ashley still doesn't know I'm back on Earth?"
"He doesn't even speak of you," Meng Yeow replied. "Why?"
"That boy," Danielle chuckled. "He's probably never seen the Brighter side of me yet, aside from the extremely tough Special training."
"Correction," Meng Yeow replied, getting the joke. "He's the only one besides me who has seen your Brighter side."
"Well, Jaclyn saw me too I guess."
"Really?" he asked. "You didn't mention anything.."
"I never really thought about it much, but you can see the way she talks to me. It's a little different," she said. "How's Carrie?"
"She's doing well," Meng Yeow said. "Though I haven't really been talking to her since this epidemic struck.."
"I heard about it," Danielle replied. "Well you'd better take good care of her, before I.."
"Before you what?"
"Just kidding," she said. "Anyway, I can offer you some advice in curing this epidemic."
"Like?"
"Telling you that its caused by an Alienizer would garner enough interest wouldn't it?"
"Who?"
"Yuiruwa-seijin Mime," she said, pausing for a while. "This Alienizer works by eating the girls' lifeforces while they dream."
"How come Basil's sister, and a few others were able to break out of Mime's control?" he asked, getting confused.
"Will," she declared. "They had strong and dominant will."
"You mean to say Yi Qin's will is weak?"
"You can say that too," Danielle replied. "Unfortunately."
"I've sent Jaclyn into her dream to break her free," Meng Yeow informed her.
"Hope she succeeds." Danielle said. "I heard that Mime can be destroyed from inside the dream."
"Is it?"
"Meanwhile, I think you should send the other guys to this.. Fire safety carnival? Haha.." she laughed.
"Fire safety?" Meng Yeow asked. "The one downstairs?"
"The one near Yi Qin's place, yah." Danielle said. "Organised by Changi Fire Station. HQ told me they called DekaBase but nobody was around."
"Well, okay lah," Meng Yeow agreed. "I'll send the guys, but how about Mime?"
"I trust Jace," Danielle replied. "Remember the offshore mission?"

"Yi Qin!" Jaclyn called out to her. "Can I talk to you for a moment. In private?"
"Sure," Yi Qin replied. She led the way as the two of them went to a corner of the apartment, near a window facing the road. "What's going on?"
"Don't you feel anything strange?" Jaclyn asked her. "Don't you feel that this world is not real at all?"
"You feel it too?"
"I don't," Jaclyn replied. "I'm here to bring you back to the real world, out of your dream."
"I've been dreaming all this while?" Yi Qin asked. "How did you get into my dream?"
"Something Justin built.." Jaclyn said. "I also have this.." She opened her handbag and showed its contents to Yi Qin.
"SP Li..?"
"Shh!" Jaclyn exclaimed. "The rest of them are not in their dreams.. So those people you see sitting over there.." she trailed off mid-sentence as Yi Qin widened her eyes. "Do you have yours?"
"I remember putting it underneath the coffee table.." Yi Qin replied.
"Not so fast!" came a sharp female voice. The two of them turned to see a female alien, dressed in a silver and black robe-like gear, with red fiery patterns on the black portions.
"It's you!" Jaclyn shouted.
"Guys, Alienizer!" Yi Qin shouted. "Why aren't you doing something?" she asked. The others looked blankly at her, stood up, and turned into Anaroids. The Anaroids raised and lowered their hands, looking at each other and nodding in a mechanical manner.
"When the androids couldn't duplicate you I knew something was wrong!" Mime exclaimed.
"Qin, your SP License!" Jaclyn shouted as she dashed at and pushed Mime to the ground. Yi Qin nodded and ran towards the coffee table. One by one the Anaroids pounced on her, as she struggled out of their grasp to reach for her SP License. "Emergency!" shouted Jace, who pulled out the SP License. Almost instantly, she was engulfed in a yellow light. "Face on!"
"Jace.."
"D-Stick!" DekaYellow shouted, pulling out her baton to slash the Anaroids' backs. The three who were pressing down on Yi Qin's back where thrown off by the strike, and she could now freely reach for her License.

Basil walked into the arcade where the three were having a round of pool. He looked around, and suddenly caught a pool ball which was flying in his direction. It was the red 5 ball. He glared at it for a while.
"Eh," came Weijie's voice, as he walked over to get the ball. "What's wrong? Scared?"
"No," Basil replied. "I kinda had a vision as I caught the ball."
"What vision?" Nick asked, throwing the cue stick over to Ashley.
"Hmm.." Basil said. "I can't remember anything. Anyway," he started. "Sir asked us to go down to that fire safety carnival at the big field downstairs."
"Huh?!" Ashley exclaimed. "What for?"
"He received a call from W/Insp Hon saying that the SCDF requested us to be there so that the kids would be attracted to come to the carnival."
[SCDF = Singapore Civil Defence Force]
"That meddling woman again," Nick said. "She's beginning to get on my nerves."
"Precisely," Weijie said. "When did we become a kids' attraction?"
"W/Insp Hon?" Ashley was confused. "You guys know her full name?"
"Nope.." Nick replied, as Ashley calmed down.
"Pay up guys," Basil said, throwing the pool ball at Nick. "We've finally got some work to do," he said, walking out of the arcade as the others reached for their wallets.

DekaYellow and DekaPink were having no problems cleaning up the Anaroids. DekaPink swiped her D-Stick, hitting one Anaroid off, then using it to poke another. DekaYellow kicked an Anaroid away, then turned her attention to Mime. DekaPink joined her shortly after.
"So how do I escape from this?" DekaPink asked.
"There is no escaping!" Mime exclaimed.
"You need to have a very strong will," DekaYellow replied.
"Oh," DekaPink understood. "That's easy!" she slotted back her D-Stick and pulled out her SP License. "SWAT Mode..." she bent and turned backwards, and then threw her right hand upwards. "On!"
The SWAT vest formed over her, and from her helmet's sirens, telecommunications devices extended.
"SP License set!" The SP License was slotted into the holster on her vest, as the Number 5 glowed in bright pink. "D-Revolver!" The D-Revolver materialized and dropped into her hands. "DekaPink!" she proclaimed, pointing her D-Revolver upwards. DekaPink nodded and charged at Mime.
"Stupid girl!" Mime said, and stepped aside, letting DekaPink run past her in fury. DekaYellow watched on and winced at her partner's failure. She, too, pulled out her SP License.
"SWAT Mode..." DekaYellow bent and turned backwards, and then threw her right hand upwards. "On!" she exclaimed, but nothing happened. "On!" she shouted again, but nothing happened. "Eh!?" DekaYellow exclaimed, bringing the SP License down and looking at it. "On!" she tried once more, but as with before, nothing happened.
"Haha?" Mime asked. "Wearing out before you even started?" she raised her right hand and moved it in a circular motion in front of her, generating sparks. The environment gradually changed into that of an open pavilion with lush greenery all around and a pond nearby. There was a Chinese pagoda nearby.
"Huh? Chinese Garden?" DekaYellow exclaimed. Mime shot a lightning bolt which hit both DekaYellow and DekaPink. The two of them were thrown into the air, as sparks flew from DekaYellow's suit and DekaPink's SWAT vest. Both of them landed on their backs, groaning in pain, as Mime laughed at them hysterically.

Jaclyn, seated on the chair, in an unconscious state, suddenly spat out blood from the injury she sustained.
"Jace!" Christina exclaimed, moving over to attend to her.
"Don't touch her!" Justin shouted. "We still need to wait till Yi Qin is awake!"
"But we can't.."
"I trust Justin," Meng Yeow replied, cutting through the tense emotions. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a tissue pack, handing it over to Christina.

"Qin!" DekaYellow shouted, recovering slowly from the blast. "Why can't I use SWAT?"
"Err..." DekaPink pondered for a while. "Because you weren't trained to handle the equipment! The voice-activation for SWAT Mode doesn't recognise your voice!"
"Huh, like that one ah?" DekaYellow asked. "I can't believe I can't even control my own dream!"
"This is not your dream my dear," Mime said. "This is little miss pink's dream!"
"Control... dream..?" DekaPink stopped and thought. She looked on as Mime grabbed DekaYellow by her helmet and started bashing her in the stomach. "That's it!"

"And now we have... A special guest appearance by four members of the Special Police Dekaranger!" said the emcee, a guest celebrity, of the Fire Safety Carnival, who welcomed the four officers onto stage.
"I can't believe I'm doing this man!" Nick complained as the four of them went up the stage.
"I love the lights," Ashley said, smiling and raising his hands proudly. "It makes me feel so.." he scanned through the audience, and briefly saw Danielle. "Bright?"
"Wha?" the other three turned to look at him.
"The lights make you feel bright?" Weijie asked. "Have you lost your mind?"
"Er.. No.. Nothing," Ashley shook his head. He looked up again and saw Danielle glaring at him from a distance. He then turned around and looked down. "****.. ****.. Don't tell me she's really here.."
"So, can you tell us about your job?" the emcee asked. He walked down the row and stopped at Nick. "How about we ask the tallest? How are you?"
"Er, well," Nick stammered. "I'm fine."
"Who are you?"
"I'm DekaGreen," Nick replied.
"Oh the green guy," the emcee said, surprised. "I always thought Red was the tallest. Anyway, what do you guys actually do?"
"We handle all types of criminal activity as long as it had been conducted or has connections with alien criminals."
"I see," the emcee replied. "Who's the leader?" he asked. The other three pointed to Basil. "So it's you, DekaRed?" he asked, and Basil nodded in agreement. "Since you're Fiery Red, have you ever started any fires yourself?"
"Well," Basil thought for a while. "Many times actually, seems like everyday I start one fire."
"Everyday!?" the emcee was stunned.
"Yeah," Basil replied. "I have to start fires before I cook anything." he said, imitating a frying motion. The audience laughed at his joke. "No, seriously. We do start fires all the time. Everytime an Alienizer is judged and deleted, he or she explodes and burns to death in the fire."
"But those fires don't last long right?" the emcee asked.
"Think of them as campfires, they burn till there is nothing left to burn," Weijie replied, helping Basil answer the question. "Only that we don't dance around them and sing songs."
"I see.." the emcee nodded and walked over to a nervous-looking Ashley. "My, you look nervous."
"It's feeling a little cold," Ashley said, trying to put up a front.
"So, do you have anything to say to the crowd?" he asked Ashley, at the same time putting the microphone in front of him.
"Don't do drugs!" Ashley shouted into the mike. The other three turned and looked at him. The audience remained silent, and the emcee, shocked.
"What the heck is his problem?" screamed the expression on Weijie's face.
"Don't play with fire!" Ashley corrected his sentence, as the audience started clapping.

"Qin!" DekaYellow exclaimed to warn DekaPink as Mime pushed her away to dash towards her.
"Hah!" DekaPink sent a powerful punch into Mime's chest, sending her splashing into the pond. DekaYellow looked at her in surprise.
"Where did you learn to punch like that?" DekaYellow asked.
"This is MY dream, remember!" DekaPink exclaimed. "Dreams are all my hopes and thoughts! Even though she can control the surroundings, ultimately this is my dream!" she exclaimed. Mime crawled up from the pond, exasperated. "D-Sword Vega!" DekaPink shouted, as the Commanding Officer's signature weapon appeared in her right hand.
"This is getting fun!" DekaYellow said. "Hybrid Magnum!" she shouted. Magically, DekaRed's trademark weapon appeared in her right hand. "Strikeout!" she aimed the gun at Mime, and shot out a powerful fireball at Mime.
"This sword is heavy!" DekaPink exclaimed, lugging the D-Sword along with her. "I wonder how Sir can hold it with such ease!" She ran, struggling with the sword.

"Lieutenant Basri will demonstrate to us how to put out a fire with a fire extinguisher," the emcee said. The Lieutenant stepped up with a fire extinguisher, and walked over to a cabinet with a stove and frying pan set-up for the demonstration. Another Civil Defence specialist lit a match and threw it into the frying pan. In a moment the entire pan lit up in flames.
"So this is basically a simple household situation where an ignorant cook leaves the pan to answer a phone call or something, and it catches fire," Lt. Basri said. "All I need to do is pull out this ring, and press the trigger," he said, performing exactly what he had instructed. A stream of water shout out from the fire extinguisher, as Lt. Basri tried to put out the fire. Unfortunately, the flame shot out and shocked him. The Lieutenant and the safety specialists jumped backwards to avoid being burnt by the larger fire. "What the hell?"
"Hahahaha!" came a sinister laughter which echoed throughout the tent, as the fire grew, almost burning the top of the tent. The crowd started running away, as the four Dekarangers on stage began looking for the source of the laughter from where they were standing.
"Funsha Ken!" Danielle appeared amongst the crowd, bringing out her Brace Throttle and revving it. "Impulse Fist!" she shouted, throwing her fist towards the flame. Water shot out from the Brace Throttle, clearing the fire in the pan.
"Aaaagh!" came a voice from the flame, as it danced away from the pan. By this time, the crowd had dispersed and were taking cover at the void decks of nearby apartment blocks.
"The flame is dancing away?" Basil looked at it in confusion.
"Brace Throttle!" Nick recognised the trademark weapon. "She is.."
"DekaBright," Ashley replied, trembling with fear.
"DekaBright?" Weijie asked in confusion. "Eh, you okay or not?"
"She was my trainer at HQ," he said.
"She?!" the other three guys were stunned.
"Ashley!" Danielle screamed at him. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Nothing Ma'am!"
"That is the problem!" Danielle exclaimed. "You're doing nothing when an Alienizer is attacking!"
"Sorry Ma'am!"
"Change now!" she commanded to the others, who nodded. "Emergency!" she shouted, bringing her right hand across and pressed the M button on the device. "DekaBright!" DekaMetal formed over her body, she had a chest shield, and shiny, reflective material on her costume.
"Face on!" she shouted. Her helmet was of a unique shape. Her visor was larger than the others, but did not extend all the way to the sides.
"Emergency!" the four guys shouted as they struck their transformation poses.
"Dekaranger!" Basil, Weijie and Nick exclaimed, pressing the middle button as the front panel of their SP Licenses popped open.
"DekaBreak!" Ashley shouted, pressing the VI button on his Brace Throttle.
"Face on!" the four of them shouted, as their helmets materialized over their heads.
"DekaRed!" he posed, bending halfway downwards, facing the front with his right hand stretched out backwards.
"DekaBlue!" he posed, left hand spread out towards the front, while his right hand, also spreading, stretched out backwards.
"DekaGreen!" he posed, right leg raised halfway, with both fists clenched, right hand raised halfway across his body, left hand raised up.
"Facing the darkness of the universe.." DekaBreak raised his left hand and closed his fist gradually. "Crushing the daunting evils of deep space..." he raised his right hand and smacked it into his left hand. "Lightning officer!" he raised his right hand into the air, then bent down and brought it to the left. "DekaBreak!"
"Shining my light through the darkness," the new warrior said. "Evil I do not fear!" she declared. She snapped her fingers, and threw her right hand up. "Shining officer!" she proclaimed as she pulled both her hands to the right forming an X-shape, then throwing her left hand out. "DekaBright!"
"Now who's the Alienizer?" DekaBreak asked.
"Korachekku is a mischievous one," DekaBright replied, looking around the top. "He's not working for Aburera, though he likes to commit arson for the fun of it."
"How severe?" DekaRed asked.
"How's 162 cases across Andromeda, and another 23 here in our Solar System," DekaBright replied, providing full statistics. "His crimes left thousands dead, and hundred billions of dollars in property and financial losses!"
"He's there!" DekaBlue shouted, as he saw a flash of red disappear behind the exhibition panels. He ran towards the exhibition panel and looked behind it. Nothing. "Is that right?" he turned around to walk back to the others, just as the flame attacked DekaGreen from behind.
"Argh!" DekaGreen dropped to his knees as the flame wrapped itself around his neck, increasing the temperature rapidly.
"Nick!"
