Well,I have an update on this situation. Today, 'Rose' wasn't at school today and her friend, 'Tonya', was kind of the messager in the conversation. I tried to explain to Tonya that Rose is nice and all, but I just don't want to go with her. I also mention how unfair it is to both of us if I am just doing this out of guilt and pressure and the rest of the advice you guys gave me. But, at every turn, they just seem to flip it around, twisting it and whatnot. Now that was fustrating, as if they don't really care about how I feel. Tonya even said that if I don't have fun, she'll pay me back with the same amount as the tickets cost.
Late, during lunch, they sort of came up with a proposition: I can go stag, as apart of their group, but I have to walk in or something with Rose, like a couple. I thought about this. I mean, I'm not trying to be mean and stuff, and I notice that earlier I may have sounded like I dont want anything to do with Rose (it sucks to be nice at times). So, as of now, Rose and I are going to the dance as friends (sorta), but I'm pretty much doing it 'stag'. (hopefully, someone understands what I'm trying to say)
