So, your all a bunch of Tezuka haters?

It sounds lame from what I hear.

I'd rather see the most recent serie again. Now THAT show was awesome!

And I have read Nanairo Inko and Black Jack from Tezuka (though I'm missing some Black Jack volumes).

"From what I hear"... This is why a lot of good movies get shafted. People don't judge for themselves.

Heh, that's your problem right there, your going to Gamestop. Well I don't know about where you live, but here in NY GS is like last resort if you want anything games. They're sloppy and unreliable.

I didn't even know ABoy had a game, but try Ebgames, shoot..try WalMart. lol

Gamestop isn't bad in terms of service, but I know that when you guys have a company like Video Games New York, I can see why you'd hate to go to Gamestop. Also, EB was bought by GS a few years ago, so that's out of the question.

The newer series, from 2000 I think, it was good. Too bad whoever licensed it here completely f@cked it up.
Probably 4Kids.
I'm a huge fan, and can't wait for this movie, mainly cause it seems like it differs from the original considerably.

I love Tezuka's work, especially Astroboy...but when i watched the trailer, i felt theres something missing...like its not really Astroboy... well maybe its just me

For those looking for the GBA game:

As for the movie...it's a Hollywood reinterpretation of a classic. Of course they're going to screw things up, Hollywood nowadays can't leave well enough alone and just retell stories.

So, while I enjoy Astroboy, I mean who can't like a little robot dude that runs around in his undies and shoots guns from his butt, the movie isn't as exciting. I'd rather grab some of the older anime and rewatch those. And rent the movie when it comes to DVD. Should be worth it for $1 a night at least, but doubt it'll be worth $12 to see it in a theatre.
